Her name was Jang Ah Rin.I couldn't forget the first day that I met her. We were in the last year of high school. I hadn't had any sort of plans as to what I would do after wards, I never was a person to make such plans. I never had any friends - I was labled the 'weird' person at school. It was mostly due to the fact that I was so underweight and short, and...gaunt. With thin, round framed glasses and messy, slightly curly dark hair.
She was the first to notice me.
Jang Ah Rin was one of those girls that everyone looked at and loved instantly. She was short, but she had meat in all the right places, with a loveable smile and wide, chocolate brown eyes. And her hair....
Mm...her scent...
I had been sitting outside behind the school, surrounded by the shrubs and hidden by the foliage. I had been crying, actually. I can't remember why. I had had a panic attack, and that was the place I always went. But it was one of those days where I had had enough. I had clawed at my own arms until they left bloody scratches.
What was wrong with me? So many, many things.
"...you okay?"
I remember jumping ten feet into the air before I fell to the ground. Scrambling in the dirt, I turned and looked up into blinding light of the sun where her head was situated.
Her eyes wide, thickly framed in lashes. Her brown hair thick and slightly curly with golden strands. The rays of the sun shone behind her head, making her glow.
I couldn't look away.
"You okay?" She then asked again. It was then I noticed she was holding a cigarette in her hand.
Was she going to light it?
I couldn't speak. I just stared.
She then reached down and grabbed my arm, pulling me up off the ground. She had strength in those arms of hers, strength that you wouldn't think she'd have with her height. I was considered short, but as I stood beside her, she was even shorter than me.
She eyed the bloody scratches on my arm, which I hurriedly pulled my sleeves down to cover. She seemed to just think about it then, biting her lip as she did.
"Listen" she finally said, putting her hand on her hip. Her voice was honey smooth, and warming. I could of listened to it all day. "I need to kind of do something. And can you not say anything to anyone about this?" She waved her cigarette in the air. "I won't tell about...your crying." She didn't mention the bloody scratches.
Her hands, so so smooth...
I nodded hurriedly.
She smiled, an action which warmed my heart and made my cheeks flush. She then brushed my shoulder as she walked past me, her hair blowing through the wind in a way that excited my nostrils.
I had gone home and researched her immediately.
Her name was Jang Ah Rin. She was now twenty four, with a part time job at a local coffee spot.
How long since I had seen her last?
I saw her around town. But had it really been nearly six years since I saw her last at school?
Jang Ah Rin...
My name is Jang Eu Eu. And I think I'm in love with a girl who doesn't even know my name.

She was at work. Through 12:30 - 2:30.
Her house was empty.
