"Robbie, you better not be drinking up there again!" Dylan called from the end of the staircase. His sister rolled her eyes and said, "I'm going to that concert, Dylan!"
"With who?" Dylan asked as he stood in the hallway with his burly arms crossed.
Robbie rolled her dark brown eyes, as she sarcastically batted her eyelashes, "With Beverly O'Sullivan. And a few of her friends."
"Yeah, her "friends." Robbie, you do realize that Steele has a fucked up past, right? I mean, he could have vampires in his family for all I know. I mean, his uncle kinda did kidnap Li's mom when she was like, your age. Before Li was even born!"
"Dylan, my god calm down. Steele's chill so is his brother Rodney. Calm down," Robbie called as she walked out to her motorbike out in the carport.
Dylan stood at the front screen door and called, "Just watch her back okay? And watch yours too!"
"I have a pocket knife, Dylan, I'll be fine!" Robbie called as she continued to drive her bike down the street and out of the small neighborhood full of her brother's old high school friends.

The concert was loud, all of the bikers in town had gathered into one small park space. People were on top of each other's shoulders, others were sitting on the confetti covered park benches. Once Robbie had caught up with Beverly and Indy, one of Beverly's friends from her neighborhood, they all bought t-shirts that were being sold in the trunk of an old Chevrolet truck that looked about twenty years old. Older than Robbie, that's all she knew.
"Great concert, huh?" Indy asked the two girls as they all three danced and jumped to the beat of the songs.
Beverly nodded as she fixed her black sun hat on top of her boy short, light ginger hair, "I haven't heard somebody sing that good and sound so much like the band Kiss before. By the way, where's Steele? He said he'd come."
"Oh yeah, your little boy toy? C'mon Bev, you can do better than him," a voice called.

Robbie turned her head and saw Brady, one of the most annoying friends that Indy had. Robbie only liked Brady because he had and she went way back with family. But even if Brady got on everyone's nerves, he was still the favorite friend of the group. He owned an old '70s mustang, and he was a big pot dealer all around Wolf Springs. But she never bought from him so she didn't know if it was good weed or not.
"What are you doing here, Brady Maverick?" Robbie asked as she crossed her arms in a sassy and sarcastic way.
"Oh, sup Robbie, hey Indy," Brady responded as he climbed up one of the low-hanging balconies from one of the many flats in the area.
"Brady, Steele and I aren't dating. And we don't like each other anymore. That was ages ago. Besides, what's your deal with Steele?" Beverly called as she flipped him off.
Brady only snickered as he lit himself a cigarette, "Yeah, sure. You do realize that Steele was crazy for you in high school, right?"
Beverly just sighed and nodded as she took off her hat to fix her curly side bangs, "Look, I don't like him that way, and he's the same with me. And that one night we played spin the bottle and had to make out in the broom closet at Indy's flat meant nothing to the both of us."
Brady laughed again as he smoked, then he laid down on the balcony's railing as he watched the concert from above.

After an hour of heavy drinking, smoking, and loud music from the speakers on the small park's stage, Beverly caught the eye of Steele. They both went away from the crowd and hung out under a street lamp, close to Steele's old '70s black Volvo. Robbie, Indy, and Brady noticed that Steele was getting too touchy with Beverly, so they all three decided to walk over to see as to what was going on.
"Oh, hey guys," Steele called as he messed with his slick-backed onyx hair.
"Hey uh, how's life been, Steele?" Indy asked as she fixed her bright, strawberry pink hair into a low ponytail.
Steele shrugged as he twirled his car keys, "Nothin' really. Bev and I were just visiting."
Brady looked at the time and said, "It's getting late and the concert's almost over. Anyone wanna come home with me for a movie marathon?"
Beverly nodded, but then declined as she said, "I feel wasted guys, I should just go home."
"I can't drive you though, I'm as buzzed as you, Bev," Indy recalled as she leaned against the lamppost to keep her body upright.
Beverly shrugged, "It's fine. Steele was offering to drive me home."
He nodded as he unlocked his car's doors with one click of his key's button, "Yep, I'll take you home, Bev."
She smiled and said, "Thanks." as she waved goodbye to her friends to head home to her home.
"Bye, Bev, you two be safe okay?" Robbie said as she handed Beverly her phone, which she had dropped on her way to meet up with Steele.
Beverly smiled as she took back her black phone, and waved.
"See you at work on Monday, okay Indy?" she called as Steele began to drive down the road. Indy nodded and waved, "Yeah, bye Bev!"
The concert ended a few minutes later, but the others were already in their homes.

Once Robbie walked in the door, she took off her jacket and unzipped her tank top, as she walked upstairs to find her brother asleep in his bedroom with the door wide open. Robbie swung open her bedroom door and threw herself onto her large bed. She took off her boots, her belt, and threw her jacket and zipper tank top into her dirty clothes bin. She fell asleep in an old t-shirt and shorts, but she still wore her dark blue eye shadow and dark red lipstick to bed.

"Hey Robbie, wake up," Dylan said that morning.
Robbie groaned as she opened her dark eyes and asked, "What time is it?"
"It's ten o'clock in the morning. I'm heading to work soon but, uh, Beverly's older brother, Joey, he's on the phone right now."
"What's he want?" Robbie asked as she rubbed her eye makeup off with nearby tissues.
"Ask him," Dylan said as he handed Robbie the phone.
Robbie rolled her eyes and asked, "Hello?"

"Robbie hey, uh, is Beverly with you?"

"No... I thought Steele took her home."

"I thought so too. I heard the back door open, then close again while I was in the kitchen paying bills. You're sure Bev's not at your place?"

"No... have you checked in with Brady and Indy?"

"Yeah, I did. I even called Steele, his older brother Rodney picked up saying that he went right to bed when he got home. Came in through the back door."

"Was Bev with him?"

"No, she wasn't anywhere."

"Oh my god, did she ever call you?"

"No, she won't pick up her phone."

"Have you called?"

"Yeah, at least twenty times."

"Did you message her, email her, or anything?"

"I did, several times."

Robbie sat up in her bed and asked, "Okay uh... did you contact the police?"

"Yeah, they said that they'll search the park where the concert was kept."

"Good. Did Danny say that he would?"

"Yeah."

"He's the best officer. He's so chill with all the pot dealers in Wolf Springs."

"I know. Look I need to go, but get back to- oh my god."

"What? Joey, what is it?"

There was a long pause until Robbie heard Joey freaking out on what sounded like the back porch. He picked up the phone again and said:

"Robbie, call the group, and meet me at the police station."

"Why?"

"I found something out back."

"What is it?"

"Her choker, the one with the moon charm on the end... it's been ripped because the clasp is broken into pieces."

"Holy fuck! Okay, I'll be right there."

"Thank Jesus, Robbie."

"I'll contact the others, I'll meet you at the station as soon as I can!"

"Please hurry, because there's blood on the choker's charm."

Robbie held her phone next to her ear as she got dressed as fast as she could, and raced out the door to her bike. She stayed on the phone with Joey until she came to the small police station, where the others were. Brady sat on the bench biting his nails, Indy was tapping her foot aggressively in an anxious manner, and Joey was pacing back and forth in front of the small parking lot.
"I'm here!" Robbie called out as she put her phone in her back pocket.
"Robbie, thank god, okay, the station said for us to go and print out missing person posters. Because they checked the park, not a trace of her," Indy explained as she handed Robbie a large pile of printing paper.
Robbie agreed, and as she panicked, she rode down to the copier store, where she printed as many posters as she could, and once they were done, she ran all around town to hang them up. But nobody could find Beverly O'Sullivan. But that same day, Steele wrote a letter to his dead uncle and placed it in front of the sealed off cellar doors that were behind his house. The note read:

"You did this to me."
