"Thank you for having us over for dinner, it was lovely!" My mom thanked Mrs. Williams as we walked to the door. I hugged Hayes before looking at Bo. I nodded to him and stood next to my dad,
"Are you ok?" He whispered in my ear while the other four were conversing. I nodded and sent him a weak smile. He patted my back before opening the front door, he turned back.
"Thanks again, we'll see you Sunday." I thanked them as well before walking out to the car and getting in. I closed my eyes again as I laid against the head rest. My parents talked back and forth about the dinner for a while. I was still a bit annoyed with Bo and his comments about Harry, but at least I knew about why people thought Harry was so dangerous. But attempted rape? He apologized for barely touching me in the truck the first day we met.
"Did you enjoy dinner, T?" Mom asked as she turned around in her seat. I nodded,
"Yes, it was good. Hayes and I had a good laugh." She smiled,
"And you and Bo?" I rolled my eyes,
"There is no Bo and I, especially after tonight." My mom furrowed her eyebrows,
"He was making these rude comments about Harry and his family and it was just." I sighed,
"I hate when people make assumptions, especially the ones he made. They were so rude and dark, it just frustrates me." Dad pulled into the driveway and parked the car. I sighed and unbuckled my seatbelt. We walked up to the door and went inside, I went straight to my room. I was exhausted and was glad the day was over.

A couple weeks had pasted since the dinner at the Williams' and my last favorable encounter with Harry. I really did miss him for the first two weeks, and thankfully Hayes introduced me to some of his friends, Kelsey and Niall. Kelsey was a very sweet girl, very out-going. And Niall had a loud laugh and a thick accent. They both were very cheery and you always ended up leaving with a smile after being around them.
"Niall just texted me, he wanted to know if we wanted to meet him and Hayes at the pub in town?" I sighed, falling back onto the pillows on my bed.
"We just woke up though, can't we do it later?" Kelsey began typing on her phone. She laughed as I tried putting my sleeping mask back over my eyes. She pulled it off, throwing it across the room.
"We woke up like two hours ago and have been in bed ever since. I was thinking th-" Her phone buzzed again, she held the phone up to my face. Niall texted her saying he couldn't do lunch later, one being in a couple hours it would be almost dinner time and two he had some responsibilities he needed to do. I groaned and got out of bed, grabbing a fresh pair of clothes.
"I'll shower and then we can go. You can use my bathroom if you'd like." Kelsey walked over to her bag and grabbed it, slinging it over her shoulder. I walked down the hall and heard women talking downstairs. More than likely Mrs. Williams was over visiting, which was fine. My mom needed some new friends.
**
"Did you even shower? Your hair is still dry." Kelsey commented as I walked into my bedroom. I shrugged my shoulders,
"That's what dry shampoo is for. And besides, I'm not going to stand here for forty minutes blow drying my hair when I could be in town eating a burger." Kelsey laughed and walked over to the mirror, beginning her makeup. I did my normal routine and ended up beating her by five minutes. I put my shoes on and grabbed my scarf,
"Ready?" Kelsey nodded, putting on her second shoe and grabbing her purse. We hustled downstairs together and walked into the kitchen. My mom was standing at the counter, chopping some garlic and a strange woman was sitting at the table. I smiled politely,
"Tanner! I want you to meet Spencer, she's Harry's mom." I looked back over at her, noticing her brown hair and green eyes, just like Harry's. Kelsey shifted awkwardly in the doorway, Spencer looked at her.
"Kelsey, how lovely to see you again. You've grown up so much since I last saw you!" Kelsey awkwardly smiled and looked at me. She slightly tilted her head back, sending me a look. I nodded and turned back to my mom,
"Kelsey and I are going into town to have lunch with Niall, I'll be back in a little bit." I kissed her cheek before turning to Spencer,
"It was nice meeting you, Spencer. Have a great day." I walked over to the front door, grabbing Kelsey's coat off the hook. I walked over to the couch and grabbed my purse,
"So how do you know Spencer?" I whispered to her as I walked back over. She shrugged her shoulders,
"Well, before everything went down with their family, she was my kindergarten teacher." I nodded and opened the front door.
"We can take my car if you want," I grabbed my coat. "It's not a big deal and it'll use less gas since it's a hybrid... Kelsey?" I looked at her as she froze in her spot, staring at the door. I turned and my heart stopped for a second. Harry stood in front of me, his body awkwardly standing there. He cleared his throat,
"Is my mother in there?" I nodded, he nodded as well. All three of us stood there in silence, and it was awkward.
"Where are you off to?"
"Lunch with Niall and Kelsey." I said, just staring at him. It was nice to see him again, he was in a nice coat. It was dark brown with a black collar, being paired with a white shirt, black jeans, and almost black boots. He styled his hair differently, it was the first time I'd seen his hair without a bandanna around his head. He looked nice, that's for sure.
"Well, tell her it's almost time to go and we don't want to keep Pop waiting." I took a step back and pointed to the kitchen. He stepped inside the house and looked at me. I began to put my jacket on,
"Bye Harry." I said stepping out the front door,
"Bye T."

"So what exactly happened with Harry's family that everyone just freaks out when they see them?" I asked Kelsey once we were in the car. She sighed and leaned her head back against the rest,
"When Harry was a teenager, he did a lot of stupid stuff, but he wasn't very popular. He had a handful of friends, including Niall actually. Anyways, he went to the county jail for a DUI, which you know is a big deal but it isn't. But the next thing you know he's in jail for attempted rape, armed robbery, and his sister has just left the town for no reason." I gripped the steering wheel tighter,
"They didn't have enough evidence that Harry was apart of the robbery and they dropped the charges against him. Some people, including Niall, thought the Pastor was just trying to frame him. Like he had something against him. And the charges for the rape were dropped once his sister left town, so everyone thinks he tried raping his sister. I don't know if I believe that but, my judgment isn't always good."
"Well, what about his parents?"
"His dad is a drunk, hot mess for sure. His dad is always either in jail or doing something stupid. He's been sent to jail for multiple DUI's, substance abuse, harassment, and a long time ago he was sent to jail for murder. It was like a cold-blood, it was when he was under the influence he hit some girl and she died on impact. He got twenty years so he missed out on Harry's entire childhood and such. Tons of gossip goes around about that guy, but I've just stopped listening to it because it gets so dark."
"If you don't believe everything about Harry, then why does he scare you?" Kelsey shrugged her shoulders,
"Honestly, I'm not sure. He looks very intimidating, and I know he used to get into tons of fights here in town. I guess it scares me that I know he could take me out in one punch. Oh look, here's the pub. Park right there next to his car."
