Chapter 1

Our Story beginns in Slateport City a City in the Hoenn region that was famous for  international trading with the other regions. It was a sunny day and our Protagonist, a young lass called Maria, was on her way back Home from the Market. She had a Spinarak following her it was her Pokemon she got it as a gift from her father before he left. He was a sailor that worked on a Cargo Ship so he couldnt be Home most of the Time. Maria arrived back at Home and went inside with her Spinarak on her shoulder "Mother im back!" she said while putting down a shopping basket, That was full of grocerys and a small plastic bag full of berries, on the Kitchen counter. She took the plastic bag and opened it while Spinarak crawled on the counter. Maria took a berry and feeds it to her Pokemon "There you go buddy" she smiled while watching Spinarak munching on the berry. Her mother walked into the Kitchen "Welcome back, Did you get Everything?" her Mother asked "Yep i got everything you asked me for" Maria replied while sliding the Basket over the counter to her Mother "Splendid Thank you Maria" her Mother begann to stow away everything Maria bought. "Im gonna go train with Spinarak" Maria said while grabbing her Poke-buddy and walking out the door. Outside she walked towards Route 110 wich was the closed place to find wild Pokemon. Before she could start her training a stranger walked up to her "Excuse me.. Uh.. Where can i find the Pokemon Gym ?" The Stranger asked "Oh uhm Slateport City doesnt have a Gym the next one is in Mauville City wich is to the north of Route 110 so basically that way" Maria pointed him into the right direction. "Oh okay Thank you i'll be on my way thanks again" he was about to walk away but Maria stopped him "Hey wait you are a Trainer, how about a quick battle?" she asked him "Okay yeah sure i accept the challenge" He grabbed a pokeball and threw it "Lets go Poochyena!" a Poochyena a Pokemon wich resembled a dog with black fur came outside the ball. "Awesome! Alright come on spinarak show him what you got" Spinarak a Pokemon that looked like a big green spider with six yellow legs jumped off Marias shoulder, both Pokemon where ready to battle. "Okay Poochyena use Bite" It ran towards the Spider ready to bite it with its strong jaw "Spinarak dodge and then scratch" Spinarak managed to dodge the Bite attack and then used a Scratch Attack against Poochyena. The battle was pretty even until Spinarak managed to make Poochyena unable to move with a String shot attack and then finished it with a Night shade attack."Yay we did it!" Maria celebrated "Wow your better then i expected" the stranger said while he recalled his Pokemon "Thank you! Come im gonna bring you to the Pokemon Center" Maria suggested "That would be nice. By the way my Name is Aiden" The stranger said as they both started walking to the Pokemon Center "Nice to meet you Aiden im Maria" she said. After their Pokemon got healed Aiden said goodbye to Maria and made his way to Route 110 to get to Mauville City to Challenge the Gym.
