Lucy's Pov

"Princess, wake up! Your father requests for you in the dining hall." A sweet voice notified me
"Thank you, Virgo. I'll be down in a minute." I get  up to get dressed. My room was filled with pink, I loved pink, but it got old when you wake up every morning. My closet was probably one of the only things that weren't pink. I grabbed my fathers favorite dress, put it on. Then, I brushed my teeth, combed my blond hair, then I went downstairs. Being my clumsy self, I tripped on the last 4 stairs.
"KYAA!" I yelled
"Princess you must be careful." One of my butlers caught me

"Thanks you Leo," I smile "Shouldn't you be with Aries?" I ask. In a flash he bolts off. I continue to walk to the dining hall. Once I made it, I see my father reading the newspaper.
"Ah, Lucy. Now lets talk," He set down his paper."You know, well you should, you are turning 18 in 5 days. So, now that you are soon going to be able to marry. I found some men for you." 
"Father, can't I marry whom ever I choose?" I ask sitting down
"Yes, but if you don't choose soon I will choose for you." He gestured for 3 guys to come in. One had red hair and reddish eyes. The second one had black hair and red eyes. The last one had blue hair and brown eyes, I think I've seen him before. 
"My name is Dan, Dan Straight. Prince of Crocus." The red head smiled at me creepily. Not him. 

"My name is Zeref, Zeref Dragneel. Soon-to-be King of Tartaros." Definitely not him, emo freak*.
"Greetings Princess, my name in Jellal, Jellal Fernandes." He didn't say where he was from.
"Hello, my name as you know is Princess Lucy Heartfilia, Princess of Fiore." I smile
"Thank you boys,  you may go to your rooms within the palace." Father set them off. After breakfast, I headed to my room. I started packing. I grabbed some clothes to change into. I grab some money, a knife, and some snacks. 
~Knock Knock~

I hid my stuff and open the door. To see Jellal. 
"Oh, Jellal! What brings you here?" I ask

"Princess Lucy, I know I'm your suitor but, I can't marry you. I have someone else." HE frowns
"Its okay, only if you make me a promise not to tell." I let him in my room. He nods.
"What is it Princess?" I frown at that word.
"I wasn't planning on marrying anyone. " I sit on my bed
"Really?" He questions me
"I'm running away, tonight. Could you help me?" I ask 

"I don't see why not?" I smile at him, happily

"Thank you so much!!" I hug him
"Alright, Princess." I smile letting him go.

"Call me Ashley out of the castle. I don't want to start anything." I frown 

~Time Skip- Night~

I grabbed my stuff from under my bed and sneak out form my room. Everyone was in bed besides for a few knights who guarded the Kings chamber. I saw blue hair at the bottom of the stairs. I quietly walk down the stairs, I didn't have my dress on I had normal civilian clothes on. We made it outside and started to run away from the castle. Once we made it to the town, I hugged Jellal and we parted ways. Little did I know we would see each other very soon. The town was beautiful, it contained vines, flowers and plants hanging from the houses and shops. I began to walk, but my mouth got covered and I let the darkness consume me.
