There was always a man standing in my dreams reaching out to me. There was just something about him that made me wonder. He had a gift like me, we could see the dead and demonic creatures that fought to have our lives and take us to hell. What I loved best about him is he never stopped fighting, not even for us. But all I could see was the shadowy darkness, instead of his face. Even his name was left unknown.
I spent my first 5 months in Arizona fighting for my own life. Not knowing what to do. On July 4th, 2013 I met a very amazing guy. We had so much in common and just seemed so happy just talking to one another. We talked for hours and hours nonstop until dark. We were the best of friends. Around 8:00 pm, when the fireworks started going off, I told him I liked him and I asked him to be my boyfriend... It was a spectacular experience.
It took a couple weeks to actually get to know him and feel adjusted to one another. After a few weeks, we had this that got in the middle of us and ripped us apart, but after that I finally actually let go of my darkest secrets and told him about my gift. I thought he would run off like the others and think I'm nothing but a freak of nature, but instead he understood. It was all starting to come together. The man in the darkness, was him.
I never really told him, I just went with the flow for awhile. I was also so young and stupid that I lost him. We went months without communication until finally we started talking again. This time we were stronger and I matured more. He reads me easily like a book now, I can never tell him a lie. I still dream about the man in the darkness but not all dreams come true. I could care less if this one came true, I just wish that we could be friends for as long as time will allow it. But he knows I still love him.
