After finishing quite a few chapters of the book, I went for another walk. I was alone, Stephen was too busy in his own mind, and my parents were out at the bar. I grabbed my bag, filled with some American money, my iPod and my drawing book. The two places I haven't checked out were the stores and bars. I started with the stores, in hopes that whatever I buy wouldn't burn such a huge whole in my pocket. I walked i, blasted with air conditioning. It was sudden but relaxing. I walked around, reading a few prices on clothes and stuffed animals.

Forget Diamonds, stuffed animals are a girls best fried as I've always liked the comfort of stuffies, but my dog just happened to chew all of mine up, so I need a new little friend. Underneath a couple of colourful bears and tropical fish plush’, there was a lone unicorn. T’was a blue little horse, with a white sparkly horn in the middle of its forehead. The mane and tail were stringy but sparkly. I had to buy it; I took the tag in hand and saw it was only $10, not too bad. I brought it to the till, and the lady looked at me funny. "It's for my little sister." I said, without making eye contact. She didn't say anything other than asking for the money; I gave exact change, took it by one of the legs, and made my way out the door.

I shall name you... Well...You will be now known as Allie. Allie the Unicorn. I thought to myself, examining my new little friend. I wasn't watching where I was going, and I hit something. Whatever I hit, felt like I was hitting Luke, with my luck it could have been him, but before I even looked up, I quickly apologized, "I'm-- I'm so sorry, I wasn't paying attention, I was looking at what I bought-- what I bought for my little sist--" I was cut off by his voice, thank god, I was stumbling over my words a little much.

"Oh don't worry about it, I could've gotten out of the way." He said with an obvious lovely British accent, I looked up at him; he wasn't as tall as Luke, maybe even a more comfortable height to stand next to. It was the boy with the black hair that Stephen embarrassed me in front of. His face looked even more attractive from closer up like this, I don't know how long I was staring for again, but he took my attention away from his shirt to his face, "You alright there?" He asked.

I stumbled to find words quickly, but I managed to say; "Oh-- Oh yea, I was just... thinking. You know us girls, thinking and all." Might as well curl up in a dark corner after that sentence.

"Ha! Oh, you're funny." He said, winking. I don't care what he says, even if it's rude, with an accent like that he can go into public and sing Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley, and still get girls. He continued, "Is that a unicorn? Its very pretty." He said laughing.

"Yea, for my little sister!" I said, petting its head, looking up and smiling, and he smiled back, "I named it Allie."

"Allie? Allie the blue unicorn?" He said, malking me, jokingly, and I laughed at myself for that one, "Was that you in the pool today? Getting whisked off some boys back?"

So he did notice. "Oh yeah. Brothers are great!" I said sarcastically.

     "I bet! I wouldn't know."

     "Oh? Only child?"

"Well, I have a half brother, but that isn't the same." He said while looking at his watch, "Well, I'm supposed to meet up at the pool with my dad, but it was nice meeting you --"

"Maddi. I'm Maddi, it was nice meeting you too--" I said, but looking into his light eyes. They were so pretty.

"Oliver." he said, holding his hand out for a hand shake, I shook it, "Hopefully I'll see you around, maybe one time we can get to know each other more." I was in a little shock, but I nodded my head and smiled, we both said bye and went our separate ways.

Wow.
