Jupiter

33 9 5

The light collects and swirls.

Streams of red and white, all poisonous,

They start to surround me as I plunge into the atmosphere.

I know one breath could kill me, but

The picture outside is still breathtaking.

I'm still falling.

I will be the first person ever.

I will be the last person ever.

To visit Jupiter.

To see this wondrous sight.

I'm still falling.

This was my mission.

And even though I know I'll never make it home again,

The view outside makes it almost worth it.
