"You're kidding me, right? You set me up on a blind date? You know how hard it was for me to get over my ex, I'm nowhere near ready to be thrown into another relationship!" Vee thought that her friend was truly lucky for sitting on the opposite side of the table right now, for if there were no boundaries between them, she would have been strangled. Her companion merely giggled and continued sipping on her ice tea.
"He's really lovely, alright? Chill, I'm not saying you have to marry him after this meeting... I just figured that you've been alone for so long and you need someone to cheer you up? Besides, he's honestly so nice and really sexy, he rides a motorbike and he might be a little bit late, but you know, not late late, anyway, you're gonna thank me by the end of this date."
Vee frowned and pointed her finger at the friend, "I will kill you by the end of this date and if he drags me somewhere and murders me, I will haunt you for the rest of your life."
Her companion brushed the topic off and the two continued to chat before Vee realised that there was a train leaving from the platform in ten minutes that she needed to catch. Rushing, they both reached the railway station just in time for a quick hug and promise of a soon meeting. It wasn't until she stepped into the train when Vee realised that she has completely forgotten to ask for the stranger's name. She quickly turned on her heels and pushed the window down, eyes searching from the friend in the crowd of people who have gone off the train only seconds ago.
"What's his name?! The guy I'm meeting?!" Vee leaned out of the window as much as she could to make sure her friend could hear her, however, whilst the girl was replying, the train's whistle went insane and all Vee could see was her mouth moving. She squinted her eyes to focus on the one syllable word, then tried to pronounce it for herself. Tae? Tae. Little did she know that her friend actually screamed a completely different name.

Vee glanced over at her watch as she was seated by the bar with a glass of mojito in her free hand. Just as her friend had said, this mysterious date was already ten minutes late. She rolled her eyes and decided to cruise around the bar a little, maybe go outside for a bit to get some fresh air and also to look out for a boy on a motorcycle.
She took her drink with her and left the bar, heading outside where there were few people chatting over their drinks in small groups. When Vee started feeling slightly uncomfortable, since she couldn't join any of these groups because of her blind date, a roaring sound of a motorcycle engine caught her attention. The beautiful machine stopped by the pavement, carrying two people from which one hopped off almost immediately. The small brunette took off her helmet and handed it over to the guy who just straightened his back and accepted the thing without a word.
Vee scanned the couple carefully, for they surely must have been a couple given to the behaviour the girl was showing towards her companion. What Vee did not realise, however, was that she was now almost eagerly waiting for the man to unmask himself as well. She caught herself staring at him and had to take a very unsuspicious sip of her drink to mask the curiosity that was eating her alive.
Finally, the man stepped onto the pavement and pulled the helmet off only to reveal the dark hair with green fringe hiding beneath it and a face that literally made Vee's heart skip a beat. She watched him run his fingers through the coloured hair and adjust the fringe before his lips stretched into a lazy smile when the girl started talking to him. Vee moved slightly closer, remaining in the proximity of one of the chatty groups.... not to raise suspicion.
"You'll be back here by eleven, okay? I don't want hyung to kill me and by the way, you owe me a big one for this, remember? I'm not somebody's taxi driver."
His voice was so incredibly deep, dropping lower every few words and his stare was so intense that it made Vee wonder just how powerful the girl must have been to endure it. The petite brunette giggled and leaned forward, planting a small kiss to the boy's cheek before humming, "Thanks Tae, I'll be here on time."
"Oi! What did we say about you calling me Tae?" Taehyung started, but she was already far from his reach or deliberately ignoring him. He sighed and strapped both helmets to the motorbike, then he checked whether his beauty was intact and just when he was about to stand up, someone beside him cleared their throat.
"Sorry if I'm interrupting your moment with your motorbike, but I couldn't help it and overhear your name... are you Tae?" Vee wasn't even sure what she was doing at this point, casually walking to a stranger in hopes that he is her blind date, but she shifted her weight from one leg to the other and crossed her arms over her chest. Taehyung looked up, but didn't reply until he straightened his back and was confidently towering above the girl unfamiliar to him. He raised an eyebrow and tilted his head to the side, "Depends on who's asking."
"Ah yeah, sorry, my name's Vee, I'm sorta supposed to meet you here? But I see you came with a different company so I'll just finish this drink and be on my way.." the tension between them was filled with electricity and when Taehyung leaned forward, squeezed the straw in her glass with his teeth and took a sip of her mojito, Vee couldn't help herself but shiver. She watched him lick his lower lip ever so slowly and eye her from head to toes.
"That was my best friend's sister you saw, I only gave her a ride here. Sorry, did you say you were waiting here for me? I don't remember scheduling a date with someone so beautiful."
Vee gripped the glass more tightly, sure she would drop it if she wasn't careful. Was this guy seriously shamelessly flirting with her? She realised she should be more careful, after all, she knew nothing of the guy, but the fact that he was so handsome certainly didn't help her initial plan.
"Yeah, I mean, you forgot already? Wow, you really have short memory and you're late on top of everything."
Taehyung laughed, completely taken by surprise by the attitude of the girl he had never seen before. He pushed his hands in the pockets of his leather jacket and cocked his head towards the back entrance of the bar, "Well then, why don't you punish me for being so disobedient?"
