Blood, it was everywhere. She laid there, in a pool of her own blood, her white shirt now a disturbing shade of pink. She heard someone yelling something. The memories stored in her mind were slipping quickly away from her grasp. Faces faded away with the collage of pictures time had created throughout time.

"Annie, come on Annie. No, no, don't close your eyes. Come on, just stay with me Annie, just a little bit longer." She couldn't tell who the voice belonged to, her vision was too blurry to make out the face of the person yelling to her. They sounded desperate and Annie could not help but feel sorry for them. All she wanted to do was to close her eyes and go to sleep. Sleep sounded good to her right now. Maybe she was dreaming, well having a nightmare but the heaviness weighing on her eyelids soon overcame her.

The bright green eyes of the girl slowly closed, to the young man holding her it seemed like hours, when in reality it was seconds, seconds he couldn't get back. The raven colored hair of the woman in his arms was now sticky with blood. Tears were staining her cheeks, but they weren't her tears.
