The Dream
Chapter 1
"RUN!" Lily screamed. "The only way you can leave is..."
Silence.
A blood-curdling scream echoed throughout the island, and then a pair of amber eyes appeared where Lily used to be. Nikki, unaware that she was seconds from death, kept on shouting. "Lily, Tom! This isn't funny!" Nikki said as loud as she could.
Grunt. She turned around. "D-D-DINOSAUR!" stuttered Nikki, who at the moment was fumbling over vines and roots of trees trying to get away from the massive lizard.
Realising where she was, Nikki dug the heels of her trainers into the ground. It wasn't enough. Over the edge of the cliff she went. "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!"
Nikki woke up in a sweat. She wiped her forehead with the back of her hand and then sprinted into her brother's room, waking him up in a suffocatingly tight hug. "What on earth happened to you? Why are you hugging me?" Tom managed to say.
"I'm hugging you because you're alive!" Nikki said, as Tom pried her hands off his chest.
