Chapter 14: Prom dresses?

Katniss POV:

"well, Annie, Ummm Congrats?!?" I really don't know what to say. "Uhh thanks?" I smile at her. "Hey Katniss, I was going to ask, today after school, Johanna, Glimmer, Clove and I want to go shop for prom dresses. Come with?"

So far only Clove and Annie has been asked out. By of course Cato and Finnick. "Sure Annie. Umm when is Prom again?" "KATNISS EVERDEEN!! How could you forget, its next friday!" "Oh yeah. Haha well see you later." And I walk to fourth period.

I walk into Camilies Prom Dress Shop and see all the girls in one corner. Peeta dropped me off and said that they would be at Cato's. I am kind of sad that Peeta hasn't asked me yet.

"Hey!" we all say together. Johanna cones out of the dressing room with a black dress with a red belt on her waist. Her strapless sweetheart top and flowing bottom that reaches just above her knees. "O-mi-jesus! You look so beautiful Jo!" She smiles,"Really?" we nod in response. Clove drags me and Glimmer. Annie and Johanna find more dresses. Clove finds a violet long dress that is one shoulder. She grabs a random red one and pulls me to the changing room.

"Try this on." And she hands me the red one. I change into it. Omg! Its beautiful. Yellow and red with some sparkles at the end. I walk out to see Clove in her beautiful violet dress, Glimmer in a pink dress that reaches her mid thigh, Annie in a sea greenish blueish dress that is long and one shoulder with a diamond on her waist, and Johanna in her dress that she tried on earlier.

"Ohh hell yeahhh!" We all scream. He go back in the dresssing rooms and hang the dresses again. We head to the front of the store and everypays. It my turn to pay and so I hand her mine and she says, "$450" My eyeballs fall out. "uhhh, can you please put that on hold for Ms. Everdeen?" "Sure. Thanks for shopping at Camilies Prom Dress Shop."

The girls leave there dresses in the car and point to a store across the street for jewelry. Its pretty dark outside but I say sure. We are heading over there and Annie says, "Sorry about your dress Katniss. It really was a pretty dress. Are you planing to buy it?" "Yeah. Im going to find a job and save for it. Thats why I put it on hold." I respond. She just nods. Then someone covers my mouth and I jerk my head towards Johanna to see she is unconsios with a towel over her mouth. That drug that sleeps you! i hold my breathe until I cant hold anymore, and I breathe . . . . . .
