Somewhere along the line while flying over a sea of white fluffy clouds, the bed ducked below and we emerged into a beautiful blue sky with the most spectacular landscape beneath.
It was rich in greenery and seemed to almost greet us in a happy welcome, as we flew over the treetops something flew out and Moana screamed, only to be comforted by Anya with a gentle smile and a pat on the back. Which I calmly watched and made a note to think further into later.
"Crysta!" Wendy called out with a hand cupped at her mouth. "Crysta we're back!" There was a slightly louder rustle beneath us as the leaves part and small streak of glowing light darted up and rested on the bed frame, revealing it to be a female fairy with a bob of black hair dressed in a red two piece and smiling happily, big green eyes sparkling.
"Wendy Alice Shanti, it's so great to see your faces again! I missed you all so much!" She noticed Anya, Moana and me next. "I recognize one of you, Anya right? The girls have told me all about you. But who are you two?" "I'm Melody, and this is Moana." The chief's daughter waved shyly, but the fairy just smiled.
"Nice to meet both of you. Welcome to Ferngully."

"Sorry if the house is a little broken up, Pip and his friends drove some animals through last month and it hasn't been the same since." Alice smiled before gently patting Crysta's head with one finger. "It's fine, thanks again for keeping it in check." The fairy smiled before taking flight, pausing at the window. "Oh, one more thing; there's a party coming up in a few days. Wanna come?" "Sure thing Crysta," said Shanti with a happy smile, "you can count on us." She smiled before flying off, leaving us to our quarters.
The treehouse was perched in a ridiculously tall tree as straight and close to as narrow as a poll; it was made from a wide assortment of woven leaves and trees with a mossy floor that had been matted down over time. There was a small back patio with a bamboo stand shower that was connected to a smallish waterfall, three flat looking mattresses stuffed with leaves, two windows with large leaf curtains, and an open roofed dumbwaiter made of bamboo and held together with corse thin rope that threatened to break any minute.
"Obviously you've been here before." Shanti and Wendy both giggled softly at my comment, Alice annoyingly rolled her eyes.
"We're used to the three of us sleeping here so since there's more then three of us now that might make things a little tricky." Shanti said. "Dibs on the bed!" Declared Anya, everyone laughed.
"I'm good with wherever, once you sleep in a boat without a blanket there's no going back." Alice smiled ever so faintly before tossing Moana a rolled up blanket which she caught but shook her head. "Really, I'm fine." She handed it to me. "You have it Melody." I smiled. "Thanks island princess." Her eyes widened at the nickname before she smiled softly.
