Brooklynn's POV

I'm not sure how long I was laying on the counter with my head down, but I'm pretty sure I had been for a couple of hours. I can't believe that I fell for him like that. After getting my heart broken by Connor, letting myself fall for Sawyer was a mistake. I should have checked to see if he had a girlfriend. I'm actually surprised Joey didn't tell me that at lunch yesterday, especially after I told him what went on that morning. I realized I had to face the facts. I just got played. For the second time in the same month, I was played, lied to and treated like a toy. A weird feeling came across me as something when off in one of my roommate's bedrooms. I yanked my head off the counter quick and ran to the room where smoke was coming out of. Morgan and Sarah joined me at the door. I put my hand to the doorknob to make sure there wasn't a fire inside. I quickly opened the door to find Mia, standing in the corner of her bedroom with a shirt in front of her face. In the middle of the floor was my camera bag. I looked at Mia with a horrified look on my face.

"What the hell, Mia, what did you blow up", I asked, running over to open the window in the far corner of the bedroom.

"Well, let me see", she said walking over to the bag. "A camera, Tripod, extra hard drives and a few new memory cards." I stared at her. I wasn't sure what was going through her head but I think I knew.

"You though the bag was Sawyer's?" I asked silently, not wanting to say his name.

"Yeah, he brought it over yesterday, said you needed it. I thought it would make you feel better." I couldn't help but laugh at her. this girl was literally doing everything to make me feel better, which she always is, so I knew her buying me New filming equipment was going to be no problem.

"Well, at least you didn't break my lights." I said , fanning out some of the smoke.

"I wouldn't say that, she said looking over towards the the door. I glanced over to see my lights, be my at odd angles ans flickering on and off. I began to laugh incredibly hard, which freaked my roommates out more than Mia blowing up things. after laughing for a while, we got the smoke cleared out of the apartment but Mia's room still smelled bad, so we decided we were going to go out. I walked into my bedroom to find my shoes and phone laying on my bed with a note attached from security. thinking of the night before made my heart feel heavy. I picked up. My shoes and threw them to back of my closet. I looked through my cloths to find something comfortable. I then took a shower and did my hair in a messy wave. I was looking for shoes to put on when I heard Sarah yell form the living room that they were ready to go. I quickly pulled on my shoes and grabbed my phone and keys and ran to the elevator. when the doors opened, there stood Sawyer, with Hitch on a leash. He looked at me and smiled until he fully read the look on my face. "Look, I can explain everything", he said ,stepping out of the elevator. I put my hands up and shook my head.

"I don't care. I was stupid to fall for you, but it will never happen again, ever." I said, stepping into the elevator and letting the doors close on his hurt expression. I rode it to the basement garage to find every one in s car except for Sarah. I walked over to my car and unlocked it. I got in , followed by Sarah getting in the passenger seat.

"You okay?",she asked looking at me. I nodded. I put the key in the ignition and put it in reverse. I turned to Sarah.

"Where are we going?" she looked at me and smiled.

"The place that always makes you happy. Confused, I drove off behind Mia and Morgan, to this place that supposedly makes me happy. I'm just hoping it makes me forget.
