“I’m so sorry Flor, I didn’t mean to.” He apologized.
I didn’t speak; I can’t forgive him like that. Even if I want to, it won’t be easy to forgive someone who didn’t remember you.
“I miss you so much.” He sighed as he looked into my eyes. Finally, I spoke up.
“I miss you too Harry. But…” I paused as I took a deep breath. “You broke a promise, our promise. You told me you won’t forget about me, but you did. You forgot our friendship. You promised.” My tears are falling on my cheeks, I can’t help it. He wraps me around his chest and hugs me very tight. I miss his tight embrace and his strong cologne. I can feel his breathing. It felt like it was yesterday, when I cried in the park then he came to comfort me. It felt amazing to be back.
“I’m so, so sorry Flor. Sorry for breaking our promise. Sorry for everything.” He apologized as his stroke my hair. All I can do is cry into his chest and soak it again with my tears.
