"When my daughter loves someone, she loves with her whole heart. She loves you. More than she loves herself. And I've never seen her like this. So if you love her as much as you say, you will do whatever it takes to prove it to her."-Ms. Grace

[Third Person]

Darkness consumes us all at some point. We may seem strong, but even the strongest fall.

"Ms. Grace... Journey lost a lot of blood. And it's a miracle that the baby was not harmed."

"Will she be okay?" Ms. Grace asks.

"She'll be just fine. We just need to observe her for a day or two." He reassures.

"Okay... Well... Let me call the book company." She sighs, staring at her baby girl laying in the bed hooked to wires.

It broke her heart to see her like this. So broken and fragile. She hasn't seen her child this way since Danny dropped her.

"M-ms. Grace..." Jason whimpers.

She glares at him. "What are you doing here?"

"I-I just wanted to say I'm sorry."

"Haven't you done enough?" She sobs.

"Ma'am..."

"I've never seen her like this. Not even after Danny. She really loves you. Deeply." she sobs.

"I-I realized t-that now." He says wiping tears away.

"Well... The baby's okay. She just needs to recover from the blood loss." She says.

"T-that's g-great." He stammers. He looks over at Journey in the bed, his heartbreaking. How could he do this? What was so hard about loving her?

"I have to call New York. Can you stay with her?" Ms. Grace asks.

"Um... S-sure." He says.

Ms. Grace walks towards the door, but stops beside Jason.

"When my daughter loves someone, she loves with her whole heart. She loves you. More than she loves herself. And I've never seen her like this. So if you love her as much as you say, you will do whatever it takes to prove it to her."

He nods his head silently, looking down at the floor with his hands in his black slacks that he wore with his white shirt and black tie.

She wraps her arm around him, pecking his cheek. "Congratulations by the way."

He snickers, wiping tears away. "Thanks."

She sends him a smile before walking out of the room.

Once again, Journey found herself in a hospital. She didn't understand. But she couldn't blame no one but herself.

"I never meant to hurt you." A voice says. it was sad but familiar.

"I-I just want another chance." The deep raspy voice sobs. Suddenly a hand covers her womb. And then she knew...

Jason...

"J-Jay?" He sobs as her eyes open.

"Baby... You're awake." He says with a sigh of relief. She looks around to see she was surrounded by white.

The last thing she remembered was seeing blood.

"M-my b-baby... W-where's my baby?"

"The baby's fine Jay... You just lost a lot of blood."

She sighs deeply. "What are you doing here?"

"I came to see if you were okay..."

"Is that it?" She asks.

"And the baby of course." He adds.

"Hum..." She says.

"Journey! Oh my goodness you're okay!" Ms. Grace says.

"Yeah... I'm fine."

"I called New York. They pushed your trip to three days from now."

"T-that's great." She stammers.

"I'm... I'm gonna go." Jason stammers.

"Thanks for staying with her." Ms. Grace says.

"N-no problem..." He stammers, smiling. He looks at Journey, his smile turning sad.

"Bye Journey."

"Goodbye Jason..." Journey says, tears falling down her cheeks.

She knew in that moment what was happening. He was letting her go. He was letting her be free. Letting her move on. He had hurt her so much. And he knew she deserved better.

So he decided to give her some space. Let her live her life. But he'd be back. He'd be back a better person for both Journey and their baby.

(A/n: hey... The baby's okay. If you guys are reading please let me know. Even though this is for my closure, I'd like to hear your thoughts. Love you:)
