He's.. Alive?

Cadenza's pov ( which is the reader if you are confused) ~
I woke up in my large,warm bed. I was just taking a nap from doing paperwork all day. There was a sudden knock on my door. "Come in" My voice was faint.

"Countess Cadenza, a letter from the Queen," my butler, Levi Ackerman(A/N: huehuehuehue~😈), took out his hand to show me the slightly crumpled letter.

"Levi, what did we say about formalities? Just call me Cadenza." I sigh "Anyways, read that letter. I'm too tired to read it."

"Very well, cou-Cadenza."He said while opening the letter. He began reading the letter.

Dearest Cadenza,

I'm just letting you know that the Phantomhive Manor is having a ball tonight at 7 to celebrate his fiance's return.

The earl of the Phantomhive Manors is quite young and probably wouldn't even remember you. Therefore, you wouldn't get an invitation because as I mention earlier, he wouldn't remember you.

Just to let you know, his name is Ciel Phantomhive. Best of luck!

" WAIT WHAT? CIEL? HE'S ALIVE?" I shouted /asked. Ciel? He couldn't be alive, would he? I saw with my own eyes the Phantomhive Manor burn to ashes. Tragic past? He wouldn't remember me?

~Flashback~

I was in my carriage. I was on my way to the Phantomhive Manor because I wanted to apologize to my brother.

We recently had an argument about how reckless I was in babysitting Ciel. But hey, we were just having fun until my stupid brother interrupted. He misunderstood everything.

I reached the Phantomhive Manor and as soon I as I get out, the Manor was on fire. Eversince that day, I lost everything.I was depressed. I retired from being a singer.

~ end of flashback~

"Cadenza! Are you alright?" Levi ask, concern and worry in his tone. I replied with a nod and called my maid in to help get dressed fo the ball.

Soon,my maid,Mikasa Ackerman,
Levi's twin came in. Levi started complaining that mikasa's dress is dirty. Well, he is the clean fairy after all. They started arguing and I sat there like an idiot.

"Umm guys? Are you done?" I sweatdropped. They turned and look at me. I had my stoic expression on. Their eyes widened and quickly went back to work. I shooed Levi away because obviously I need some privacy. Levi nodded and closed the door after he went out.

I stripped out of my clothes and I searched for the best dress for the occasion with the help from Mikasa.

Dress:

I looked at the mirror and saw how beautiful I looked... And how I resembled my late brother,Vincent Phantomhive.

"Cadenza? The carriage is waiting for you." Levi said, thought the door. I walked towards the door and opened it.  What I saw was...HOLY SHIT.

Levi:

My mouth were wide open. We started walking towards the carriage but on the way there, I saw Hanji cleaning. I called out to Hanji and when she saw us,her nose stated bleeding. I deadpanned and smirked. I knew it! We continued walking and without Levi noticing, I winked at her. Her face was all red. My smirk became wider. I should talk to her later abt it.

We reached the carriage and levi opened the door. I took his hand and went in. I looked outside the window and I sigh.

'This would a one hell of a ball.'
