The shrill sound of my alarm clock wakes me from my sleep. I groan and practically crawl out of bed. Going to school is such a drag, especially when I only have a few weeks until I graduate. I shuffle over to my desk and look at myself in the mirror. Sheesh. No wonder I haven't found a mate yet. Everything about me is plain from my naturally curly dark brown hair, my dark green eyes, to my slender and slightly curvy form. The only thing I have going for me is my status as the alphas second daughter. I sigh and begin to dress in my ripped skinny jeans and black sweater crop top. I pair the outfit with some cute red ankle boots and style my hair straight. I check the time on my phone and notice a text from Ben, my ex boyfriend. I ignore it and block the number.

"Alison!" I hear my father yell from downstairs. "Get down here, now." I sigh. Me and my father have never really been close. I've always been the second choice to Sabrina, my older sister in his eyes. Nothing I do will ever compare to her. I grab my bag and head downstairs almost running straight into my father who stands directly at the bottom of the stairs. "Yes father?"

He barely even acknowledges me and goes to sit down at our spacious round, glass dinner table. " Your sister is coming to visit. She says she has a surprise and seems very excited to share it with us. I expect you to be home by 6 to  properly greet her." Of course. I should have known the only reason my father would be interested in having me home at all is to see Sabrina. If only he knew she wasn't truly the perfect daughter he thought she was. Not that it would change anything. I would always be the one who took his mate from him.

I will my tears away and nod silently to my father. "I will be home by 6."  And just like that I am dismissed. I grab my keys off the kitchen counter and head outside, climbing into my blue, Jeep Wrangler.

I make it to school early and head straight to my locker to grab my books for English. Of course my best friends, Tana and josh are already there waiting for me. I smile at them both, "Hey guys." They both smile back at me. "How was your weekend?" They ask in unison. I laugh. "You should know I spent my whole weekend with you two."  Josh holds his hands up and shrugs, "I'm just making sure I live up to the expectation of being best friends with a gay guy." I laugh. Josh is your stereotypical gay best friend, he goes shopping with me, picks out my clothes, tells me what looks good and what doesn't. Oh and let's not forget checks out all the hot guys with me and Tana. He's very good looking with short cropped blonde hair, a slender build and he is very tall. Tana is also very beautiful. She has reddish brown hair and bright green eyes and is about 5'7. I, of course am the shortest at 5'2 . Oh and they are both werewolf's in the moonlight pack with me, however none of us have found are mates yet. "Hey you guys want to go running with the pack later at around 7?" Me and josh both go to shush Tana. We are at school and considering only about 10% of the school is werewolf's we have to be careful when talking about werewolf/pack business. "Tana you need be careful what you say in school, before you get us all in trouble with my father. And anyways no I can't. My father wants me home by 6. " We all head to English after I grab my books. Throughout the class period I begin to wonder what my sisters surprise might be. Maybe she has finally found her mate. I smile. Me and my sister have always been complete opposites, me being far more reserved and quiet and her being a bit of a party animal and very uh how do I say... open. We don't really get along well but I truly do love her and want her to be happy. Who knows maybe he has a younger brother who could be my mate.
