Hey guys, so I wanted to rewrite this book, keeping the same concept, but revising it. So what I wanted you guys to do, was read the original for chapter one, then read this. Compare them then tell me what you think. Thanks for your feed back!

I slowly stood up, every part of my body aching from the fight I'm still in. The Joker gave a depraved laugh, "Is that all you got Bird Boy?" He emphasized on the bird part, only naturally.

I smiled, "Not even close." I dashed at him, evading small, sharp pellets that were ment to burst on impact and release a fatal disease of Joker gas. I shot my grappling hook to the rafters above and swung around to hit the Joker in the head. He outsmarted me.

A pellet striked the elastic rope, ripping it in half, slamming me into the ground.

I said to my knees and got half way up, panting. Joker placed his hands around my head and brought it down to his bent knee. A loud pop resonated around the room as I blindly ducked to avoid an invisible punch. Instead I was kicked in the head when I moved.

"I-is that all you got?" I stuttered out and rose to my feet swaying. The lights flickered, giving me a chance to charge. Mistake number one.

The Joker easily side stepped me and left his right foot out tripping me. I fell off balance and with ease he flipped me on my back.

The Joker sat on my midsection, pinning me to the ground. I struggled under his heavy form as he slowly shook his finger.

He tisked, "No no nooo~" he grabbed my arms and made it where I was laying on top of them. "You better stay quiet for uncle Joker, or this is going to hurt."

In defiance I spat in his face. "You're a sadist."

His carved grin twisted to something more sinister when he drowned. "I know, but," he started the next few words in a sing song tone. "You'll be a dead little bird soon. You just," he tilted his head, "jumped out of the tree to early." My blood ran cold as he opened a pouch containing several sharp objects.

{Spider-Man's POV}
"I thought we made a treaty!" I yelled as Doc Ock swung one of his metal tentacles at me.

I back flipped over it as it flung a chair into a blue and gray spinning portal. I started at it in disbelief. I turned and grabbed his claw in my hands and started to slid backwards from him moving forwards.

I tried to readjust my footing, setting me off balance. Dic Ock took an advantage of this and flung me into the portal.

Time seemed to slow as I pressed the button on my web shooters twice. A small web came out before it stopped. 'I'm out.' I thought in fear as I saw Doc Ock vanish, q figure dressed in all black stood in his place.

My home disappeared before my eyes as I was dragged into the rift.

Not to long after, a searing pain lit inside my chest, soon spreading to every part of my body. I let out an agonized scream scream as it felt like I was being torn apart piece by piece.

The bright pattern faded and I was launched into cold concrete floor. I rolled them hopped up, surveying the room.

A boy and a green haired guy stood apart of each other. The boys uniform was in tatters and bloodied. A messy 'J' was carved into the middle of his chest, dripping blood. It was a miracle that he was still standing. The green haired seemed perfectly okay as he tossed a knife hand to hand. He tensed, ready to run.

"Hey!" I yelled, the two looking over to me. "Don't you know? Halloween isn't for another eight months!" Midwayninto my speech, green haired guy took charge and I darted at him.

The kid who barely had enough energy to stand, didn't move in time, leaving dagger placing itself into him. "No!" I yelled, panicked and turned, catching the kid.

He coughed and a small stream of blood fell past his lips. "Kid? Kid!" I slapped his cheek. "Kid stay with me!" My heart rate picked up and my breathing started to flatter. 'No... no not again! I can't lose anyone else! He's a kid!'

My vision turned crimson red as I ran at the green haired guy. I punched him in the gut, then sent another one to his throat. He gagged and stumbled back. A darker part of me spoke. 'Kill him.' It whispered, 'He killed the kid.' I lifted my foot and stopped to listen.

A faint heartbeat brought me back to reality. 'He's alive.' I let out a shaky breath and tried to calm down.

I went over to the kid then shook him a bit. He opened his eyes groggily and I gave a relieved sigh. The knife wounds reopened a few scars, causing more blood. I placed my hands on either side of the hilt and I got ready to take it out.

"Stop it. Taking it out will kill him." I jumped up and spun around. My heart to starting to pick up again.

My spidey sense kicked it up to 11 and I turned back to the direction of the kid. A towering figure stood in front of me. My spidey sense still going haywire and I took a step back, trembling. A feeling of panic rising to my chest. "W-who are you?" I gave an awkward cough and straightened. Trying to not look afraid.

A flicker of confusion ran through him. "What do you mean who am i?" I narrowed my eyes and decided to speak.

"My name is Spider-Man."

"By your voice, I'd say you're more of a spider-boy."

I clenched my fist at his response as he bent down, picking the kid up. "Hey!" I squeaked out in protest. I pressed my trigger twice. Only for it to come up empty again.

"If I wanted to hurt Robin or you. You already be dead. Now come with me and bring the Joker. I have questions for you."

Seeing no other option, other than running, but I'm not stupid. I picked the unconscious guy up and but him into the back of the car. "So uh... where are we?"

He turned over the engine and spun the car around, giving me my first chance to see the city. "Welcome to Gotham city Spider-Man."

I looked out amazed. "I'm not in queens anymore." I breathed.
