There stood Mandi Mackenzie, the girl who caused all this trouble. As soon as she spotted me, the colour drained from her face. Without second thought, I ran over to her and shoved her to the ground, slapping and punching her. I felt arms try to pull me back, but I fought them away.
"You're a cow! " I screamed, tears streaming down my face, "You stole him from me! I love him! I love him with all my heart and you took him from me!"
I stared at her and she looked terrified. I soon noticed that I had earned a crowd of people, every single one filming the disaster. Hurriedly, I stood up and Ferne dragged me away into the nearest shop. I ran my fingers through my hair and wiped away my tears as we walked, trying to rid my mind of Andy and his beautiful smirk.
"Are you okay?" Ferne asked me as soon as we stopped walking.
"Yes" I replied, simply, "I just lost my control of my feelings, I don't know what happened. God, Andy's going to think I'm such an idiot when he sees the video!"
"Kaitlin, I'm going to be honest with you" she said, then sighed and continued, "I'm pretty sure Andy would never cheat on you. I've seen the way he looks at you and I'm pretty sure he's completely crazy about you. I think you just need to let him explain and everything will be fine... Now let's do some shopping."
******** Day of Tour **********
"Kaitlin, we're going to be late!"
I rolled my eyes at my best friend and hurried downstairs. I pulled at my purple dress as I climbed into my car and played with my hair as Ferne sat in the driver's seat.
"Calm down" she laughed, "It's not as if you've never met him before!"
"I really don't want to talk about it" I huffed, stressing out, "Can we talk about something else? How's Brooklyn? How's your sister? Have you seen the new Riverdale episode? Have you--?"
I was interrupted by Ferne erupting into laughter. I stared at her, not knowing what to say. The silence continued for the rest of the journey and I spent the whole time worrying about what would happen. As we pulled up at the venue, my stomach churned and I felt sick. Ignoring it, I got out of the car and entered the building, Ferne right beside me.
"Ahh, Miss Johnstone!" the security guard exclaimed at Ferne, "So nice to see you again! Mr Wyatt and the boys are backstage. You must be Kaitlin?"
It took me about 15 seconds to realise that he was talking to me.
"Yes, yes I am" I replied.
He handed me a pass and stepped aside, letting us walk past him. I fidgeted with my hands and stared at my feet as we walked, head spinning with nervousness. The next thing I knew, I was lying on the floor and my head was pounding.
"I'm not very good at making things up to you am I?" a familiar voice sighed.
"No. You're not" I groaned, as Ferne helped me up.
"Are you alright?" he asked.
"Yep. I'm fine" I lied, brushing myself off.
"Okay, erm do you want to talk or?" he asked, nervously.
"Yep. That's why I'm here" I sighed.
"Are you going to be blunt with me the whole time?"
"Yes. I am. Is that a problem?" I rolled my eyes.
"Well yes" he answered, impatiently, "The girl I lo-- you know what it doesn't matter, let's just go somewhere private."
Five minutes later, we're on a roof. Andy stood near the edge, admiring the view. Part of me worried for his safety, but the other knew he'd be fine. He took a deep breath before turning round and facing me.
"I saw the video..." he mumbled.
"Oh" was all I could say.
"Kait, you know I'd never ever cheat on you" he frowned, "I love you and you're everything to me!"
"Andy, I saw the picture" I sighed.
"You didn't see my face though, it could have been anybody!" he shouted, exasperated, "I love you to pieces, Kaitlin! And I know you still love me, you said it on the video!"
"That doesn't mean anything" I mumbled.
He looked horrified, "What do you mean it doesn't mean anything?!"
"I mean it doesn't change what you did" I explained.
He looked down at his feet, and began slowly stepping backwards.
"I can't believe you just said that to me" he frowned, tears spilling down his cheeks.
"Andy, be careful" I warned, "The ledge"
"I don't care" he said, bluntly.
"Andy please just stop, you're going to fall"
"And now you care?" he scoffed.
"This isn't funny, stop it!" I begged, panicking.
He stopped for a moment, only a few steps away from falling. He stared at me.
"Tell me you believe me" he sniffed, "Tell me honestly that you believe me and I'll get away from the ledge."
"I believe you" I said, my voice cracking.
"You're lying" he glared.
He took the last few steps backwards and fell off the ledge. I lunged forward, and it was as if everything was in slow motion...
