Chapter 18: Stars

Kaitlyn's POV
A few hours later after I well died me and Sammy are together in my room. I suppose you want to know how I came back well that's a story for another day. Anyway I was curled up on the floor next to Sammy.
"I'm so glad to have you back Kaitlyn" Sammy said for the millionth time now.
"I was only dead for like what 10 minutes?" I laughed. Sammy smiled.
"Those were the worst 10 minutes of my life. Also I have something I want to show you" Sammy scooted over to a crack I just noticed now in the wall I scooted up beside him.
"You see that star that shines brighter than the others?" Sammy asked when I looked through the crack into the night sky.
"Yes" I said. It was absolutly beautiful.
"That's like us. We shine brighter than any of the others."
"Oh Sammy its absolutly beautiful"
"Yes it is. But not nearly as beautiful as you my darling" Sammy put his arm around me and I rested my head on his shoulder.
"I love you so much Sammy" I said.
"I love you too Kaitlyn" Sammy kissed the top of my head. We stayed there like that for a while before I yawned.
"Maybe it's time you get some sleep now Kaitlyn" Sammy said.
"Yeah I guess you're right" I got up and so did Sammy. I walked over to my bed when an idea popped into my head. I turned to face Sammy.
"Sammy will you sleep beside me tonight please?"

Sammy POV
"I uh.....I don't know about that Kaitlyn..." I said after Kaitlyn asked me would I sleep with her tonight.
"Oh come on Sammy it's not like I'm asking you to make out with me or anything. I just want to be beside you that's all."
I smiled Kaitlyn was just too hard to say no to. "Alright then."
Kaitlyn got into her bed and I took my mask off and climbed in beside her. She rested her head on my shoulder and I put my arm around her waist pulling her close to me.
"Goodnight Kaitlyn"
"Night Sammy"
Kaitlyn soon drifted off to sleep and I couldn't help but watch how beautiful she was like a little angel. My little angel. After a while I closed my eyes and fell asleep too.
