I was sat at my desk revising for a test I knew I was prepared for, when my phone rang, I picked it up after seeing that Tyler was calling me.
"Hi Amy, do you wanna go out for lunch later on?"
I smiled, Tyler loved to eat more than I loved to read.
"Sure Ty, where do you want to go?"
"Uhh... I was thinking chinese?"
"Again? Okay if you're sure you can handle chinese AGAIN." I laughed getting out of my chair.
"Of course I can handle it Mia! Kay, I have to go but I'll pick you up at two?"
"Sure thing." I replied finishing the phone call.Tyler has been my best friend since primary school, although we are nothing alike we get along really well. Honestly I'm glad he's nothing like me because I doubt that I'd be able to handle another one of me.
I walked towards my closet and picked out an outfit more suitable for leaving the house, I changed into a denim skirt with a plain white t-shirt tucked into it. To match, I added a small white purse and white sneakers
At two I heard the doorbell ring."I'M GONNA OPEN IT!" I heard my seven year old brother scream followed by a crash and an "I'M OKAY"
I walked to the front door to find Tyler asking Caleb about his lego's.
" Caleb, I'm going to be back in two hours, okay? Tell Mommy for me please. I love you!" I said hugging my brother who smelt like his chocolate shampoo.Tyler grinned at me when we were in his car, and turned on the radio.
"So what's new?" he asked me with his deep voice
"Nothing, as usual. You know that my life is boring as hell Ty." I replied turning to look at him
He was quite handsome but he definitely didn't look like you're average guy. His skin was pale but not quite white, he had cloudy grey eyes and his hair was a natural platinum blonde. He was tall and muscular and girls all around drooled over his body.
"Amy? Can you hear me?"
I snapped back into reality when i heard him calling my name.
"Huh?" I asked shaking my head
"What were you thinking about? You completely turned off right there." he laughed
"Nothing, nothing. I wasn't thinking of anything." I blurted out feeling quite embarrassed.
"Oh. My. God. You were thinking of a guy weren't you? Who is he? Do I know him?" he questioned looking at me with an awed expression.
"What? No. I don't "have" anyone! Why would you think I did?" I replied quickly
"Aw, come on Mee. I know that look. And the last time I saw it was is 5th grade after you kissed Jake Pestor" he said laughing with that beautiful laugh of his.Now I just want you to know that I don't do love. I don't. And I want you to understand why. It's not because I was heart broken or anything, it's just because in my mind there are much more important things than "love". For me that's school, my mum had lots of problems when she had me, she couldn't get any job because she didn't study, after she met dad, she finally found a job and now she works as a babysitter. It's not an amazing job but that's fine because dad is quite rich. But the thing is that I want to make sure that I study very hard so that when I have to have a proper job (at the moment I work at starbucks), I'll find one with ease. Anyway now that you know that let's get on with the story.
So Tyler was laughing his beautiful laugh and looking at me with his beautiful eyes. I don't know why I did it. I just got caught up in the moment I guess.
basically i'm sorry if this sucks (it probably does) but i've been writing this like everyday in the middle of the night because that's when i remember that wattpad exists.
