"Where are you going?!" Yelled Lace as he chased after his sister Jewel. They were both 12 years old with the same friends and unusual looks. Jewel had dark purple hair and a bright green shirt, while Lace had dark maroon hair, and whore a blue shirt. They were close and Jewel loved to make fun of him ever since she found out he as head over heels with one of the most popular girls in the seventh grade. Daria was a taller girl, wore jeans with boots, and had curly brown hair and Lace had begun to like her 3 weeks after they had started school.

"To tell Daria, you love her," Jewel replied with a sly smile. Lace held Jewel's arm.

"I'll tell her when I Want to, not you Jewel," said lace trying to not end up smacking his own sister. As Jewel nodded he let go and she went off with her friends. Lace sighed in relief of not having to go through such an embarrassment. Lace walked around the field it was their PE class and they were given the privilege to go outside since it as now June. He held the small red rose behind his back. Daria was now sitting with her group of girls tired out of the tag and running.

He grew red as he approached her and looked down at her on the ground.

"Hey Lace," said Daria Kindly to him as she stood up.

"Hey," Lace said blankly as he held out the small rose.

Daira said nothing; until she looked like she was in a panic. Jewel saw the commotion as she ran over. One of Daria's friend shouted for the teacher, as Daria began to become a blue color. Lace backed away as the teacher came running realizing she was having an allergic reaction to the rose lace had still held in his right hand. The Teacher swept Daria off her feet and into the school leaving the students outside. Daria's friend began took look at Lace. Before he knew it a rock hit him in the head pushing him to the ground.
