Chapter 1

Kenneth's POV:

I walk along the sidewalk to school, flicking my hair out of my eyes. My mother is too drunk to drive my to school and I don't trust buses, ever.

I guess I should describe myself, huh? I have longish blonde hair that always gets in my eyes and pale brown eyes. I'm very scrawny and short for a 15 year-old boy. I have many bruises from getting beaten at home, I get sexually harassed at school, and I cut, so I'm technically emo.

I finally reach the school after a few minutes of mindlessly thinking. I walk up the steps and pass through the gate, reaching the main corridor of the school.

I looked around the halls to see if he was here. And of course at the end of the hall, Felix Domeri was waiting for me. I sigh and head that way.

" So, have you finally admitted defeat?" his Australian accent distinct from everyone else's voice.

I sigh again, nodding faintly as soon as the bell rings. I could practically hear his smirk as everyone clears the hallway, so it was only Felix and me.

He pins me against the lockers and pins my wrists above my head, making me gasp in pain and shock at his roughness.

He kisses at my neck and slides his other hand up my shirt, making me shiver. I wanted to yell for help but I knew no one would want to help an emo kid.

He took his hand from under my shirt and slid it towards my lower area, making me very uncomfortable and tears form in my eyes.

I could feel him grope me as I cry, no one in the hallways still.

All of a sudden, it just stops. I realized the bell has rung so I pull my hood up and run to my next class. I didn't want to be sexually harassed by Felix again.

I arrive to class last and sit in the back. Then I realize the empty seat beside me. Usually my only friend, Conner Willows sits there. Wonder what happened...

Ms. Winfraile walked into the class, clipboard in hand.

" Hello class! Today is good and bad. The good part is that a new student is coming today! The bad part is that Mr. Willows will not be in class any longer! So let's be nice to Mr. Ellis!" she said cheerfully.

The door creaked open and a tall, muscular guy that any girl would die for walks in.

" Hi there. I'm Sebastian, your new classmate," he said proudly. At that, I knew today was gonna be especially different...
