Glier's POV
WHY AM I HERE ROASTING MARSHMALLOWS IN THE NIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE???That's how I start off my day and my part of story.
We had been in the woods until nightfall, where Eda decided to camp in a cave for the night.
Well done, E. You ruined my life.
Even if the thought is in my head but somehow, I can hear her smugly replying, "You're welcome!"
I silently facepalmed, earning a dubious look from Quartz the Quetzalcoatlus, Urie the Utahraptor and Damien the Dilophosaurus. Thankfully Arc the Archaeopteryx was not there or else... Seriously, the prehistoric bird has a spot-on judge look.
Elsa walked over to me with a stick of 3 marshmallows and said, "Want some 'mallows?"
I said a thanks and started shoving the sweet stuff into my mouth hopefully to cover out the taste of prehistoric meat. Yeah we had some unknown creature Urie and Damien caught for dinner without even searching for its nutritional value on Sireda.
Eda finished her stick of m... she had three sticks of marshmallows? She asked, "Hey Sireda, what is the problem here? Everything seemed fine."
A beep was heard in all our earpieces as we are connected, Sireda said, "For now, but there had been an overwhelming large decrease in the herbivore species."
I asked, "Then what are we supposed to do about it? Biological control? Kill the carnivores? That just sounds wrong in every kind of way possible."
"Creator Glier, I did not mention it was carnivores, contaminated plants in the area is the cause of the decrease. I have teleported vials of decontaminated serum and antidote mixture that can instantly cure the water and destroy the source."
Delta whistled, "Thats some high-tech stuff there!"
"The contaminated zone will be quite easy to spot, all you have to do is to pour the mixture in four different sources and everything will be done."
Elsa shrugged, "That seems rather easy."
"It's not, you should expect large carnivores in the area."
"Gee, great... What does the source look like?"
"You'll know it when you see it."
Eda looked annoyed, "You could've given us a more obvious answer. I don't want any of this riddle games!"
Sireda didn't answer but a voice can be heard in the background, a distressed voice. No one seemed to notice but me and Eda apparently. We looked at each other.
Sireda answered immediately afterward, "Ask me if there was anything else."
The line went dead, we sighed. We all received a map and a location tracker for each of us.
I clapped for attention, "Everyone get some sleep! It's going to be a long day tomorrow!"
I glanced over at Eda who caught my eye. We lied down for a while but we simply stayed awake waited for Elsa and Delta to sleep before going out of the cave.
She rubbed her head sheepishly, "You heard that didn't you?"
"Yeah I did, now can you tell me what is going on?" I aggressively whispered.
Eda cringed, "Alright alright! You remember the last time she gone off for a while?"
"Yeah, that's just when I needed directions."
"Okay, it's a thing I made..."
"Oh I'm not surprised, what did it do this time?"
"It's a virus by the incognito name of Zalgo..."
