Hi my name is Angie, this is my interview with LiveLifeInTheRain. She's an amazing writer. The story of hers that caught MY attention was: DD (Denominating Desires).
Here goes the interview!!
1. Q: What inspired you to write?
1. A: I love to read and I loved to write, but until, not even two years ago, I never thought about writing a book until I found this site and there was a little create button. [So], I decided to try it. I started with an over used cliche line to start and I never ended up finishing it. It went from there on a different account and I wanted to write an R rated story. That's were DD came in, it was the third I worked on and the ideas never stopped.
2. Q: How do you write your story's?
2. A: My first story I just jumped into with no clear anything. And It didn't go anywhere. So with the ones I write now, I have an idea and think about it a while and if I can't get it out of my head, I think more of it and start the book and then think of the characters. I have a clear beginning and end now, so I don't get off track like the first one. Then, from there, I know a few things I want to write in the book. But mostly, I just wrote as I go. I have a clear idea of something, ten chapters ahead, and it all just adds to that point and I go like that again until its finished.
3. Q: What was your reaction, when you realized how much people love your story's?
3. A: Wow. That one. :-). I posted DD and almost took it down. It got no reads the first week it was up, so I thought maybe it was just terrible and [that] I should take it down. But then, I logged on and saw [that] it jumped a few hundred. Next day, it was more, until it went a thousand a day. Then, Two thousand, and then a million. And it just kept going. And I'm still shocked that I have so many reads, followers and comments! It's insane!!! I'm so grateful to all my readers and I'm still so surprised and overwhelmed sometimes with all the support.
4. Q: What's your current favourite book on wattpad?
4. A: Ohhh, hard one, very very hard one. Current favourite as in one I'm reading would have to be The Guy Next Door. by: LovelyWriter123. But if you want all time favourites, I can't just pick one.
5. Q: Do you write from personal experiences?
5. A: Some of my books have prices of personal experiences in them, but nothing is from full experiences. Just parts, and not like feelings in things. Being able to make my characters relate to similar things and such, if that makes sense.
Thank you, Chelsy (LiveLifeInTheRain) for answering all my questions! You are an awesome writer and don't stop!
