Unfortunately, people will be who they think is the best person they can be. You can't necessarily "change a person" but you most certainly can HELP them.
I, myself, like to TRY and "fix" other peoples problems. And a Note to you, DONT DO THAT! It's not a good idea. Every experience I tried "helping", I was just making the situation worst then it originally was.
The best thing you can do, is tell them to talk to someone. Not much more you can do, because if you do more, you will get caught up and end up being, a witness/victim/ making things worse.
The Title of this chapter is "People are People". This my friends is completely, utterly true. You are entitled to being you. People are entitled to being them. YOU are YOU and..... YOU decide on who YOU would like to be. Other PEOPLE decide on who THEY want to be. Don't be going up there and saying.. "YOU should be more like me on less like YOU" That is a HORRIBLE idea. You don't do that. People decide on them, if they want to be a positive person then let them, if they want to be negative, then let them.
Just saying, being you isn't that bad. Getting older you realise that you love yourself and that you need to respect yourself. You may have issues with who you are, but you are beautiful and strong and everything someone who is not you can not compare on who YOU are.
Love yourself, and don't try and change someone because YOU think it's good for them.
