"Mince! Mince, wake up!" Basil shouted, shaking Mince back and forth like a toy.
"Five more minutes...." Mince muttered, curling into a ball with his back to Basil.
"Mince, where under attack. We have to go. Now. It isn't safe!" Basil pulled him out of bed and Mince was startled to see that he was now wearing a white shirt, brown pants, and old-looking tennis shoes.
"You didn't dress me, did you?" Mince asked nervously. "And wait, were under attack? By who?" He added
"No, of course not, my nurses did, and yes, we are under attack by the Sanders. Desert living is rough, they want our forest." She answered as she pulled him through a door he had not seen before. It turned out to be a storage area, and Basil made Mince crouch down with him. He was happy to realize his sides didn't hurt too much anymore- he could probably run 5 or so more minutes before he started hurting as badly as last night. Or, at least, what he thought was last night. He wasn't sure what the time was. He thought about asking Basil, but decided against it.
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Because this is such a short chapter, I will update TWO AT ONCE! HAHA! (P.S. That was my evil laugh. Be afraid.)
