meet: you meet bucky at one of tony stark's parties. natasha had invited you to meet her friends but you just saw it as a wonderful reason to get drunk. he notices you first and with steve and shuri pushing him, he talks to you. luckily you had barely started the bottle of beer in your hand at the time. the two of you talk as if you had known each other all your lives.
first date: he asks if you want to go somewhere with less people and you allow him to escort you from the party. you bring him to your favorite bar down the street from the tower. you order beer for the two of you and you continue to talk and laugh until around 3am when you decide to head home. he walks you home to ensure your safe. You ask him to stay with you in your slightly drunkenness and despite the fact that he's scared of what he's feeling, he curls up next to you in your bedroom to sleep. the next morning he takes you to breakfast and the two of you part ways when Bucky is called on a mission.
asks you out: the two of you meet for lunch one day before the two of you return to your shift at your respective jobs. he looks deep into your eyes before asking you to be his girlfriend to which you're shocked at first but you realize just how much you care for him and say yes, but you also make sure he knows you're not good at relationships but he doesn't seem to care.
first kiss/first time: bucky decides to take you on a fancy dinner date on one of the rare evenings the two of you have off work at the same time. he picks you up at your apartment in greenwich village, and when you come out he looks at you as if you're his entire world and considering you've only known him for a while and it scares you slightly but you're so drawn to him it hurts. he tells you how you look beautiful and can't resist kissing you. you end up doing it and ditching your reservations to make dinner together at home.
first "i love you's": bucky finds out you're home sick with the flu and leaves work early to ensure you're alright. he arrives and finds himself not able to keep his eyes off of you even being the sick messy blob you are that day. you fall asleep in his arms and while you're on the cusp of sleeping, he whispers the three little words in your ear and you kiss his jawline and whisper them back almost immediately falling asleep.
first fight: you realize how deep you and bucky are in and you're absolutely terrified of it. you start a fight over something extremely stupid and part of you hopes that he'd walk away but he can see straight through you and tells you he wants a future with you. that freaks you out even more and you break up with him but the two of you quickly reconcile as you need each other more than you know.
proposal: bucky plans a cozy evening for the two of you since he knows you love them and has your favorite chinese takeout & beer ready when you get home from work. he tells you how how he's loved you from the moment he saw you and how he's in this for as long as forever may take. he then surprises you with the ring and you say yes before smashing your lips to his. you knew this was it.

neither of you know much about weddings so you decide to get married at city hall in new york city. you stroll over to your favorite italian restaurant for dinner to meet steve rogers and wanda maximoff to officially announce the news in person. the restaurant pays your bill to celebrate your marriage and the two of you head out for a walk. you call t'challa and shuri then you just talk and enjoy each other's company as the sun sets in the city.
the honeymoon

since you and bucky are moving in to a new home together, the two of you decide to spend your honeymoon at your apartment before the new people move in. the two of you do your first dance together over your honeymoon to the song never say never by the fray. when you're not having hot sex you're eating the wedding cake you were given as a gift from a neighbor. you spend a good five days in your apartment together laughing, dancing, cooking or watching old films. occasionally reminiscing over the past. you fall asleep and wake up each morning in each other's safe arms and that was enough for both of you.

you fell in love with the home driving by it while in upstate new york so bucky made it his goal to get it for you. you spend ten years in the home but when your family grows, you're forced to let it go.

bucky found this home years before it went on the market and when it finally did, it was perfect timing. he moves you and the family you share into this home, also in upstate new york.
life together: you and bucky continue with your jobs, you now an attending surgeon. you have four children together (steve, georgia, james jr., and dorothy) each about three years apart. after your second baby, you quit your job to spend time with your kids. you return to work once they're old enough to handle things themselves. you and bucky remain in love no matter what life throws at the two of you. unfortunately, you die in bucky's arms after 48 years of a wonderful life in a tragic accident. bucky retires after the accident and never remarries, dedicating his life to your children/grandchildren and training new avengers until his death on his 75th birthday as a result of brain cancer.
