I finally arrive at my place and I'm nervous as hell. I don't want James to be very angry at me, although he isn't the kind of guy who gets aggressive or screams at you when he's angry. He just ignores you, which in my opinion its worse. I literally run up the stairs and when I get to my floor I'm breathless. I open the door and Jen is in the couch and James is no where to be seen. I lock the door and put my stuff at the kitchen counter. Jen stands up and walks to me.

"Hey, where is he?" I say between heavy breaths, still trying to recover from all that exercise.

"He just went to the store downstairs."

"Oh god! Is he really mad? How did he found out?!"

"Well... Um... I kinda told him. I swear it was and accident Em, it just came out of me, and I tried to fixed it but it was too late. I'm sorry. And yeah he's kind of mad."

"Jen! Oh damn it! Well what's done is done. Help me bring all the groceries bags please."

"What about James?"

"He is in the store isn't he?"

"Yeah, but he just went to buy something to drink, he'll be here in no time."

"Honey it's James, it takes him like 10 minutes to wash his hands. We'll be here by the time he finishes." We go and get the groceries and yeah in fact when we're putting away the groceries James walks in. James is the slowest person ever.

"Hey." I say walking toward him. "I'm sorry. And I can explain."

"You must explain. Because Emma I don't see a good reason of why you wanted to meet up with that asshole."

"I didn't wanted to."

"Oh really? Then why did you go? And why didn't you told me? I ask you Emma, many times and you told me you weren't meeting up with him. Why did you lied to me like that? I thought we told each other everything."

"We do! And I'm really sorry James I am. But I had my reasons."

"Well what are those reasons Emma? Because I don't think anyone in his sane mind will accept to go get a coffee with a guy who treated you like shit."

"Well maybe if you would let me explain I could tell you!"

"Fine! Explain then."

"Fine!" I yell at him, and then feel bad. I'm the one who messed up here. And he has all the right to be angry at me. I take a deep breath and I begin to explain. "Look it wasn't how you think, and I wanted to tell you, I swear. But anyways, Umm... I was really mad at Mark after what happened on Friday and Sunday, and I wasn't expecting on meeting him ever again. But when Jen and I arrived at campus yesterday he was already there, waiting for me I guess. We tried to get passed him but, he saw us and he literally run towards us. I told him to leave me alone and stuff, but he didn't listened. He told me that he just wanted to talk to me and to apologize. I told him no but he told me that he was going to stay there until I agreed. I didn't believed him, so we left him there. By the time we both got off of fifth period he was still there, so I agreed."

"And you couldn't just leave him there?"

"Well yeah, but would've I felt bad for leaving him there. Anyway I told him that I would listen to him, but that I had my rules. Which were one:-"

"Don't pick up the phone." Jen sings interrupting me. Both James and I turn to her.

"Seriously Jen? You had to? Now?" I ask her.

"Sorry, sorry. My bad! But come on! It was a good one!" She says laughing, and James and I just stare at her. " Fine sorry. Continue talking." I just role my eyes at her, before she turns and starts going upstairs, and I turn to James.
