She left me a year ago, now I'm in high school. So far I've had to take care of myselfe even though once in a while mother sends me money to my account. Although, I'm not sure if she really cares about how I am currently. I could be dead in a ditch, my body flowing down a bloody river.
But whatever, the thought of dying confuses me quite a bit. What does happen when a person dies? Does a soul leave their body? Do they start a new life as a baby from a mother's womb? Or do they just lie on then ground lifeless? One day I might find out.

The walk to school was quiet, that is until I reached the front. Students clamor the hallways as I push students left and right away softly to get through the large crowds.
Room 37, the third floor of Redlands academy: Home or the Redlands rebels. Honestly, who picked that name? Even I can come up with something more creative and catchy. I place my books right on my desk, my backpack leaning on the desk's right leg. The bell rings as the teacher quiets down the class with her loud voice.
"Settle down now."
she yells loudly as the class suddenly turns deadly silent.
"Thank you. Welcome to Redland academy, one of the best schools in the world. You all have been hand picked by the Supreme principal: Mr. Vernon Redwood. My name is Ms. Laverne, I will be your homeroom teacher and supervisor for this school year. Before we start going over the school with a tour and the grand code of rebels, I shall do attendance."
The teacher does her usual  attendance. Just as expected before finally reaching my name.
"Fuse Yoka."
I raise my hand and yell
"Here."
The class looked at me with open eyes along with the teach curiously tilting her head towards me.
"Fuse Yoka.. It can't be.."
The teacher approached me as I hear whispers from everyone.
"Yoka? Where have I heard that name before?"
"You mean that's the daughter of that girl that did that a few years ago?"
"Hopefully she doesn't have a crush on me like the other girl did. I don't want her to-"

"Settle down. All of you!"
The class turns quiet but they still look at me. It looks like fear.
"Who is your mother Fuse? There was a girl with your name that went here a long time ago."
I look up from my desk and responded quietley.
"I don't know what you are talking about. My mom left me and took dad with her. I've been living alone only lasting with mom sending me money carelessly once in a while."
The teacher adjusted her glasses and smiled.
"Well, maybe I'm just assuming something but I just want to make sure. Has your mom done something bad before? Like, hurting someone?"
That sparked a memory behind my head. Mother had told me that she hurt people, lots of them. She did because they were hurting dad. I wanna tell her that's what I heard, but mother told me to never speak of her at all to anyone.
"No. She has not."
"Hmph.. Very well then Fuse, you are the last student in my class and that's attendance done! Now, let's go out on that tour I told you all about! Follow me.

The teacher walked out the class and the students followed, I was the last one out of the classroom.
