In the world of Urshurak, there are two continents. One continent, Ashwood, belongs to the angels, and the other continent, Darkwood, belongs to the demons. Both
continents wage war against each other every day, with little to no peace at all. Within these continents lie two heroes; one for the angels, and one for the demons. On
one fateful day, the two will meet, and hold a battle so great that it shakes the world every time their swords meet. However, these two do not know that they are
the chosen ones, for they have not been told. Instead, they live normal lives, constantly moving villages when their old one is burned down or destroyed. They
were not aware that they hold the fate of the whole world in their hands. Who is the hero for the angels, you ask? Why, a beautiful young girl by the name of
Elizabeta. The hero for the demons; a young, tanned boy by the name of Arthur. Both are protected by the King and Queen of where they live, again, unaware that they
hold the fate of the world in their tiny, clean hands.
~
Elizabeta squealed in delight as she chased the other angels around, her long, golden locks flowing behind her as she ran. She was playing a game of tag like any
normal child the age of six would. Totally innocent to the world's problems, unaware of the death surrounding them. Cheerfully, she giggled as she tagged one of her
best friends, screaming 'you're it' before she ran off. Her mother quietly laughed at her daughter's delight. Completely distracted by Elizabeta, she didn't notice
another angel approach behind her. By the time she realized, the voice spoke.

"Are you enjoying your time off, Commander Aliah?"

The said woman spun around to see her second-in-command, Alfred, standing behind her. She grinned at his messy blonde hair, then at his cerulean eyes. She sighed in
contempt before responding.

"Yes I am, Alfred. Are you enjoying your well deserved time off?"

He nodded back, and smiled in delight at the children playing with each other. It's a shame that they don't know that hundreds of soldiers are fighting in the front
lines to protect them each day.

"Yeah, I'm finally catching a break. By the way, Commander, I have a question for ya'."

Aliah curiously turned her head to Alfred, signaling him with a nod to continue.

"Have you told Elizabeta who she is yet, or are you going to wait a little longer?"

She turned her gaze back to the young girl, rolling around in the grass with her friends. Keeping her gaze on her, she responded,

"No, I haven't. I'm going to wait as long as I possibly can until I have to tell her. I want Elizabeta to have as much fun as possible before we have to take her into
training tomorrow. The day that she turns seven."

Alfred followed his Commander's gaze to the young girl, who was enjoying life to the fullest. He smiled, and slightly shook his head.

"You might want to tell her now so the shock settles in. We are leaving with her tonight, anyways; I don't think we want her kicking and screaming the whole way to the
castle. It wouldn't be very fun to deal with; not fun at all."

Aliah sighed. She knew that she would have to do this, even if she didn't want to. She looked to the ground in defeat, earning a grin from Alfred. She turned
begrudgingly to her second-in-command, emitting a huff of annoyance.

"Fine, I'll do it. Right now. Just...I blame you for her reaction, though. I tell you, she isn't ready yet. Can I at least wait for her to finish playing with her
friends?"

Alfred scoffed at the idea, and rolled his eyes.

"By the time she's finished playing, it'll already be time to leave. You know that. So go; we don't have all day."
~
Arthur grinned as he stomped his foot on top of another child, digging his heel into the child's face. His victim whimpered in fear; they should have know not to say
anything in front of the tanned boy. He leaned in until he could whisper something into the boy's ear. He smirked as he felt the child quivering underneath his foot.

"Now, what did you say to me, Devin? That I should just run away before I 'fall behind all of y'all'?"

Devin's eyes widened. He hadn't meant for Arthur to hear him say that. He was just concerned for him. The tanned, red-haired child grinned at the child's obvious
fright. The boy slowly nodded as much as physically possible. Because, y'know, a foot was kind of being shoved into his face. Arthur grinned.

"That's what I thought. Now, run off before I change my mind of being nice and beat you to a pulp. Then that'll show you who's boss 'round here."

He lifted his foot off of the scared boy's face, and let him scramble onto his shaking feet. He smirked, eyeing the boy up and down.

"One..."Devin turned around.

"Two..."The boy started to run off.

"Three!"

Arthur frowned when he saw that his victim was a good twenty or thirty feet away from him by then. Looks like he wasn't going to have fun at the moment. He smiled
and shrugged. He always had tomorrow; he also had the boy's friends, who were about five feet away, still gawking at what happened to their friend. Arthur turned his
gaze towards them, blowing a lock of maroon red hair that fell into his face away. He put his hands on his hips, and said with evident smugness,

"So, any of you wanna take me on, or do you think I'm still behind y'all? I don't think so. All of ya' are scared stiff. Now scram before I beat you all up, too!"

They happily obliged to his command and ran off before he could say anything else. He smirked at the fact that everyone was scared of him, but then he frowned. Everybody was scared of him, even though he didn't want them to be. He was just defending himself. He sighed, and walked back to his mini cardboard house, and crawled in. It was still damp from the last rain. He shrugged; at least it gave him shelter of some sort. Grabbing his blanket, he pulled it over himself as much as he could, and fell asleep to the little warmth he was able to pull from the blanket.

A/N: Way to end on a depressing note, eh? Anyways, my name is Kittenlover676, but you can simply call me Snowy or Kitty; either works for me! Soo this is the first time that I've written something NOT based on something I've read or written, so sorry if it's terrible. I guess it's helping me get prepared for my dream of being an author. BUT criticism is welcome, why, I think it'll help me improve if I listen to y'all and take your advice to heart. Anyways, I don't know when I'll update this again, I'm also working on another story. All the names but Aliah NOT mine: I kinda borrowed them from the Hetalia fandom, which means that the names Elizabeta, Arthur, and Alfred are not mine. I also kinda used Alfred's appearance, too. Please don't kill me. Anyways, see you guys next time I post! See ya, my cinnamon rolls~
