I stare at the clock, waiting for it to change. In just a minute my 2 best friends and I would finish elementary school. "RING RING" the bell sounds and in a flash, all of my six grade class is grabbing their stuff and running out the door.
"Alexa, Jamie wait for me" I call to my 2 best friends. My phone beeps and I look down, It's a text from my mom. I'm waiting at the park, make sure to remind Alexa, and Jamie that they are staying over tonight. Ya like we could forget, I thought but instead answered her with an ok, I will.
I spot Alexa's long golden hair and Jamie's jet black hair waiting for me and run over. "Come on slow poke, lets get out of here before Mrs. garden can decide to give us work to do" Alexa say's, And we all run to the park.
"Hi Katelyn how was your day" My mom ask's me when we climb into the car. She always make's sure to ask me before she ask's my friends.
"Good" I answer, as she pulls out of the parking lot. "Im so exited for summer, No homework No tests, Its like paradise" She shakes her head at this but doesn't say anything for the rest of the ride.
When we pull into the drive way I rush out and race Alexa and Jamie inside. "Last one to Katelyn's room is a rotten egg" Jamie yell's laughing as he runs into the house. I think that the hole summer will be like this, fun and awesome, but i have no idea what is just around the corner.
