Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and so on everybody~ Long time no upload, I know. You can continue to be disappointed with me if you would like. I deserve it. It's been a hot minute, so I apologize if the writing is rusty. Enjoy <3

As I laid naked on the table, all I felt was pain. So many different tools were cutting, slicing, and tearing everywhere on my body. I couldn't move. I couldn't cry. There wasn't a single spot untouched, but does it matter? Matter to the people doing this? No, it didn't. Because I will heal. I always do, and they will do the exact same thing over and over again.

This must be what hell is like. No matter how much you try to scream or cry, it will never go away. It's been like this for years. All because of my horns. All because I am different. But, even as I grew older and more human like, they still don't hesitate to continue their duties.

As long I bare these horns, I will never be truly human. I will always be a monster.

"Enough, we will continue this tomorrow. She is at her limit. Take her back to her room," A man said.

My eyes were hazy from all the lights shining down on me, but I could never forget his voice.

Dr. Franxx.

As the helpers unstrapped me from the table and lifted me up so my feet were touching the floor, I immediately fell to me knees. I couldn't feel anything. It felt as though I was walking on stubs.

"Dr, maybe we should shorten the time of the experiments, so we don't stress her body too much. At this rate, we will have to constantly carry her back and forth," one lady said.

"She'll be fine in a hour or so, just take her back."

"Tsk," I heard her growl under her breath and grab me by my elbow.

The other person did the same, and lifted me up. I knew they hated that they had to help me walk. They would much rather watch me drag myself on the floor like a dog with no legs.

As we were in the hall, I began to feel light headed and dizzy, and I struggled to keep my legs moving.

"Hey, keep moving!" The second helper hissed.

I could've fallen, but they kept me up. However, as I paid more attention to them, they hardly held onto my arms anyways and wore a disgusted frown on their face. I wasn't surprised. I knew I was a monster to them, and that was never going to change.

Once in my room, I instantly fell and continued to lay there. The floor was hard and cold, but at this moment it didn't matter. My skin was on fire and the only relief was the coldness. Every inch of my body was stinging, and when I move, even just a little, it burned. But Dr. Franxx was right. I will heal. Maybe not as fast as when I was younger, but I will.

I looked at my hand; Looking at its entirety. It's color, it's size, and it's softness. How human it is. I'm so close to being human, but no matter how much I look like it, I will always be treated this way. I balled my hand into a fist as hard as I could, feeling tears sting my eyes. I don't want to be this way. I want to get away. Far away as possible. I want to be truly human. To have the experiences that they have, and not be tortured and experimented on.

As time passed, I eventually lifted myself off the ground and looked around. How do I get out of here? However, there was nothing in here except a bed and bathroom area, and huge windows so they can watch every move I make. They wouldn't risk anything else, and I don't blame them.
