Do Kyungsoo , is an overachieving,
but socially awkward teenager who graduates as the Valedictorian of his high school in the summer of 1993.
After the ceremony, Kyungsoo's two best friends,Chanyeol and Sehun,
take Kyungsoo to a party, where he gets drunk for the first time.
At the party, Kyungsoo makes out with a college boy he has a crush on named Kim Jongin.
Since the room was dark, he mistook Kyungsoo for someone else and when he realizes who he is, Jongin rejects him.
Kyungsoo blames himself for his lack of sexual experiences and resolves to learn all about sex over the summer to prepare for college.
He decides that his end-of-summer goal will be to have sex with Kim Jongin to complete his "To Do List".
