One more, I tell myself knowing it's not true. It never is "one more".
I was right, I knew I was. It wasn't just one more it was 5 more, to be specific. I knew I had to clean up the mess and so I did. I cleaned all the blood off myself and anything it had touched, I cleaned the blade and put it back where it was supposed to go.
Then it hit me. I realized what I had just done and broke down crying, I had promised him I wouldn't do it again, that I would try to stop. Yet here I was not even a week later.
"Maybe I'll tell him, maybe I won't.", I thought to myself.
"If these walls could talk", I quietly whispered.
