The Stars Are Closer

I see things that nobody else sees.

" HEY!! GET THAT WOMAN!" A man wearing a white apron and a chef hat says slowly chasing after me. I jumped and dodged people and all sorts of things as i got away with a white bag filled with food in it. In my way there was a wall that cut me off from the poorest place in wakanda. The chef chuckled with a spatula in his hand ready to hit me with it. " give it up. You lost N'aka" I only smirked and said " Yea-no" I put the bag further on my wrist and ran to the corner of the wall and began to hop from one wall to the other. " I WILL GET YOU ONE DAY CHILD!" I made it all the way up the wall and jumped to the closest ledge of a building and bent over to take a breath.

I looked over the city of my country and saw how poor we really were. I jumped down from the building on to a big truck and climbed down those small latter on to the floor. I started my journey to the place i was forced to call home which was nothing but the sand and a small shed. With my creativity I hung up lights and I stole a beanbag chair and a blanket. I had a very small table but right there i was doing my work. What work? Yes I might have a poor city but it doesn't mean it isn't big. Some places are were parties take place with girls with dresses that they either stole or sewed themselves. Gangs and motorcycles. Gun violence and theft.

I'm a vigilante. I take missions that the great ' Protector' cannot see. They over see it as just a minor misdemeanor. I know we are suppose to be the cover of what the country really is but Damn. " Seahawk to star shine do you copy?" I heard through my radio. I picked up the walkie and said " What's up" Seahawk is my eyes of the operation more like the man in the chair and his name is jase. He belted my suit. " I have visuals on Black tuba" black tuba is the fugitive I've been trying to track for weeks now. I sucked my teeth looking at my food " Where" I said " Dynasty ave across bark and beer" he says. " Shoot, that's too far, where is star darling" I asked " I don't know, she turned off her tracker last night but never 're- oh my god" he stops.

I stand up in worry, star darling is my partner her name is Alex. We grew up together. " What" i I say grabbing my suit " He has her. He knows we are after him. You can't go there, he has traps and more guards then last time. " he informs. " Seahawk, what is he doing with her" I asked.
" Using her. She knows the King Don bank front and back. But...he has something on her neck." He says " Can you see what it is?" " No not clearly. " shit. I say.

" ok I'm coming."

" Ard but hurry"

I slipped on my suit that was grey all the way through and blasters on my hands and feet. I had an arch reactor too and the design of the water, boarder tribes and old traditional pattern. My whole suit was nano tech and my main power was...power? I don't know I just can blast people when I buck at them. " Operation save the darling is a go!" I heard through my suit. ( Seahawk is kind of a Jarvis but he is human)

I ran out instantly turning invisible. I climbed up on the closest building ran as fast as I can see that a train was coming that will lead me right where I need to go. As I looked in front of me I saw that the train was ending soon so I ran cat style and then jumped off the ledge. I barley caught onto the latter. " WOAH YEA THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT" Jase yells which only makes me smile. " Ok how far do i need to go?" I asked  " Um.. 5.2 miles" he answered. " Oh shit, shine you got company" he says. I look behind me see more a black car following us. " who is that" I say. " Lemme scan it" I heard from him " SHIT SHIT SHIT SHINE MOVE NOW" He yelled. I asked no questions but I jumped and with my claws I crawled on the top of the kart. I stood and my feet activated the suction cups and I began to run leaving dents in the metal.

" WHO IS IT"

"How in the hell did they-"

I was cut off but a loud thump. I then turn and see black panther. " Oh no" he started to charge at me but I decided to run away. You really think imma fight this dude? Hahaha you thought " STOP RUNNING" He stays. " IM VERY SORRY MY KING BUT I MUST" I yelled back. I then turned invisible. " Huh..SHURI..." he then starts running back and jumps off the train but i run forward. The car stopped following us and I heard Jase let out a breath " good job there gone" he says " you will be there in 2 minutes just hold on" he says. The 2 minutes go by and I arrive in a slightly better place than where I live. I hop off the moving train and I start running " Ok Jase where too" I say " I just updated your suit with directions" then i see the red dots leaning to the right. " Thanks Jase"
I followed the directions and when I saw the guards at the front I ducked into an alley. Deactivate. The suit came off and hid itself into my watch leaving my ear piece in and i walked to the guards. They both looked at each other and then back at me.

" Hey guys, what cha doin?" I said to them. " What the hell do you want eh?" One man says. " OMG LOOK" I say and they looked behind them and I released gas from my watch then immediately made them sleep. I walked in the bank but everything was normal " Jase" I say but all I got was static " Hey Jase"

" Shine?#+#++ they++/have me!!#=#+ the dora!" Then a dead signal. I tried to run but I was blasted into a wall creating a big crack into the wall that I crashed into. " Sshhit" I shook my head and began to get up. I looked at who blasted me seeing the panther " Stand down" he commanded " Y-you d-don't know anything" I stuttered. I heard him sigh and then I heard yelling. I looked behind him yo see a dora pulling Alex into the scene. " Alex?" I questioned " let her go" I said stepping toward him but then I heard something activate behind me. " Dont MOVE" I looked to see Shari, the kings sister. " Come with us and there will be no trouble" he says holding his hands up. "You don't know shit! You do not know who I am or what I am. And don't know why i am doing this. What have I done wrong eh? All I ever do is save this poor city from things you don't care about. Telling me there will be no trouble ta the lies you tell, look around you. All you see is that we are cover ups for what our country really is but you do not see that these people are dying and suffering" I yelled.

" I give you enough food and supplies. I give the people what they want so what do you speak of?" He asked me. " who do you think runs them. Hum? Gangs. Gangs you don't see and that is why I help the poor people. What have I done wrong. I have never stolen anything but food, I couldn't betray my country, so why are you here?" I say.

" N'aka Patina Woldine. You were never registered, ever. Do you remember you parents?" He says and I shook my head. " Mm, come with me and there will be no trouble" he says again. With a tear in my eye I deactivated the suit and put up my hands. " I surrender"
