Ayanna was sitting at the table and the time was flying by. Josh was supposed to be there. He didnt even call. Ayanna had a feeling in her stomach that she hated. She was getting worried. Two hours late. He wasnt responding to her calls or texts. She called up all her friends but no one said they've seen him. "I hope hes okay" Ayanna cried as she paced back an fourth. She stepped onto the balcony, looked out onto the driveway. His car hasn't pulled in. Ayanna looked up at the sky. And saw her shooting star. "I wish that josh would come home" she whispered through a storm of tears. The phone began to ring. She ran over to the line. She held it up to her ear. A sweet voice said "something's happened. And you need to come right now" she ran to the bedroom. She got her purse and sweater she ran out to the garage and took the blue truck. She drove up to the hospital and parked she ran into the front room. Slammed into the front desk she gave her name and address and the patient. They lead her down a million halls. It was a maze thats ne'er ending. They talked about wht happened. But she could barely hear them. All that she could think of was December. She remembered when he asked her. They went to the beach as the sun set he got down on one knee. He held out the ring. And he said "i want you forever. Forever and always through the good and the bad and the ugly. Well grow old together forever and always." The doctor finally stops. He gives her a look. She nods and tries to keep her straight face as she walks into the room. She sees josh just laying there his face is violently bare. His skin is going pale. His heart rate is slow. He has new stitches he is still stained with blood. The car crash was huge. It was all accross the news. Ayanna was getting so many calls but she jut ignored them. Ayanna layer on the bed. She talked to josh all night. His words were soft. He could barely talk.
