"Every cat needs to get out of the camp! A tree is falling!" Dovepaw yowled, startled, Briarpaw ushered Blossompaw and Bumblepaw out. She was frightened as she hurried after the apprentices, Firestar and Brambleclaw guiding them to a safe place. Longtail and Mousefur followed close behind with Jayfeather and Leafpool.
"Don't be worried, Jayfeather. Our herbs will be safe." Leafpool murmured quietly to the silver-furred tom, his blue eyes gazing around as the warriors hurried out.
"I want a mouse from the fresh-kill pile, StarClan would be angry if we wasted prey." Mousefur murmured, her claws fixed into the grass anxiously. Longtail slipped away back into camp, and Briarpaw followed. Entering through the tunnel, the tree was beginning to snap, she hurried to the elders den. "Longtail, Longtail come back!"
A loud snap sounded, then a crash. A heavy weight fell on Briarpaw, she yowled in pain as her lower body fell completely numb. Blood foiled at her paws, Longtail's breathing stopped. The mouse was just out of reach. And everything fell dark.
