As I got in to my dads car I noticed the keys to his other car on his key ring. I knew I had to get it to go to that party. I asked my dad if we could stop at Starbucks. He said sure. I got my usual a venté cotton candy frappuccino and a chocolate cake pop. Him and his girlfriend Veronica went inside while I stayed in the car. I hopped up to the front seat and tried to get the key off the ring. Struggling, they started to come back outside. I finally got it off just in time.
We got to AppleBees and I sat next to Veronica. I looked at my phone. The party started in twenty minutes. I had to hurry. I excused myself to the bathroom and snuck outside. I didn't live too far from AppleBees so I ran to my house. I got there in five minutes. I typed in my garage code and got in the car.
As I was driving away I passed AppleBees hoping my dad wouldn't look out the window. I think I'm safe. My dad texted me right as I got to the party. He asked if it was my time of the month and if I needed help. Embarrassed, I texted him back. I told him that I was fine and that I would be out soon.
I didn't think this through very well. He's going to notice when I don't come back. This party is going all night. I don't know how im going to do this. Maybe it would work of I come back when they're done eating. I could say I was sleeping over at Lizzies house. I think that would work. Well what's the worse that could happen?
