Today is my first day of summer camp and I wanted to keep a log of my summer. I won't know anybody so it will be nice to totally reinvent myself. I am really excited because I just turned sixteen and I might meet a boy or one might meet me. I have always wanted to have always wanted a secret admirer but it has been really hard ever since mom died and dad has been way to overprotective about my love life. By the way my name is Maddie and I am a little obsessed with what people think about me that is why I am trying something knew this summer. The summer camp is called Camp Four. Basically when you get there you get divided into four different groups. The Lions, Bears, Tigers, and Eagles. I really want to be an Eagle but my dad says I will probably be a Bear. This camp is in Africa so I finally get to leave this small town in Georgia and I get to go explore the world. I hope that I make a new friend on the bus ride.

***********************************************************************************************         My dad just dropped me off and I have already made some new friends. Right now I am sitting next to Olivia and she is so sweet. She very well may be the nicest and prettiest person I have ever met. Then there is Lacey. She is a little boy crazy but only because she has never kissed one before. She just had "the talk" when she turned sixteen which was only two days ago. She said her mom didn't want her to do anything stupid at this camp if you know what I mean. The last kid I met is really sweet but not my type. His name is Andrew and he is sitting next to Lacey behind me and Olivia on the bus. "Hey guys, what team do you wanna be on?" I say in an excited voice.

"The Eagles!" they all say at once.

"I hear that the cutest guys always get put on the Eagles."

"I love birds and think that they are under appreciated." said Andrew

"Well both me and Olivia wanna be leaders and that is what the Eagles always become."

Then I laid my head back and slept until we got to the airport to go to Africa.
