Tossing and turning in bed, trying to find a comfortable position to fall asleep in. You roll onto your back and huff out a deep sigh. Staring up at the ceiling, just thinking about how much you miss him.
His hugs,
his kisses,
his touch,
scent
Just every single part of him.
" when am i going to see you again tae? " you quietly say to yourself.
FaceTime just wasn't enough for you anymore. Sure, you got to see his face and  his voice but it's not the same. You wanted physical contact with him again but him being so busy, you hardly ever see him. He visited a few months back but it felt like years since you've last seen him.

*bzz bzz*

You snap out of your thoughts, the light buzz on the table beside you interrupting the little thought bubble you were just in. Grabbing the phone off the table, you read the name that appeared on the dimly lit screen;
' baby ❤️ '
Immediately swiping your finger across the screen, you answer the phone.

Tae : " hey baby. "
you : " hi tae. "
You croaked
Tae : " oh, did i wake you? i'm sorry princess, i'll han- "
you : " no, it's okay. i was awake. "
Tae : " are you sure? "
you : " positive, baby. "
Tae : " ookay. "
You softly giggle
you : " so what's up, hun? "
Tae: " i was just checkin' up on you, seeing how you were doing. "
you : " aww, i'm doing just fine baby, thank you. how's the tour? "
Tae : " it's great! all our fans are seriously the best, but there's one fan in particular that i really wish went. "
His voice got smaller towards the end of his sentence.
you : " i'm sorry baby. "
Tae : " it's alright. it was nice talking to you babe but i have to get going now. i'll s- talk to you later, i love you! "
you : " well, okay. i lov- "

The call ended.

Since you're already awake, you decided to check your social media for anything new.
Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat.
Scrolling through your feed, nothing seems to grab your attention 'til one post caught your eye.

Your head shot up to the sound of keys rustling around and the front door opening.
Literally jumping out of bed, you trip over your own feet. Pulling yourself back up, you sprint towards the living room to find your one and only true love standing at the front door, struggling to get the keys out of the lock.

you : " BABYYYY ! "

Wasting no time at all, you throw yourself onto him as soon as he was aware of your presence.
Wrapping your arms and legs around his build, nuzzling your head into his neck & squeezing him, never wanting to let go.

you : " i've missed you so much.. "
Tae : " i've missed you too babygirl but darn, i was really hoping you'd be asleep. "

You pull your head back and admire his pouty face for a quick second before unraveling yourself from his body.

you : " why? "
Tae : " to surprise you, duh. "

An airy chuckle escapes your lips.
He jokingly rolls his eyes as he finally manages to pull the keys out of the lock, shutting the door behind him.

you : " you're so extra, baby. let's take your things to the room now. "

You say as you roll his luggage into your room.

Tae : " god, i've missed you so damn much. "

He says lowly to himself.
You jump and snuggle into bed, so happy that your boyfriend is back. Taehyung climbs into bed with you and caresses your face.
