I smiled. We came to a red light; I got really hot so I decided to put all of my long hair in a really high bun. I looked over to find Trent staring and licking his lips at me.
He was staring so hard he was paying any attention to the road. I had to yell “GO”. He snapped out of his trance and turned into the parking lot of the mall.
He stopped the car; he ran to my side and opened my door for me, grabbed my hand and kissed it.
We walked hand in hand in to journeys I found this dope af beanie that said OR NAH on the front. Again I looked over to find Trent looking at me.
I paid and we left. Trent wanted to go in to footlocker I wasn’t interested so he went in by himself. I took out my iPhone and started to play “Don’t tap the white tile”.
About 10 mins into playing I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around. “TRENT OMG U SCARED ME. I THOUGHT U WERE A KIDNAPPER OR SOMETHING”!!! Ugh.
After that we walked into Nike. We went our separate ways only to find out we came for the same thing. Black air force ones. I giggled we went to the register and paid we were on our out of the mall until I saw a custom spray painted t-shirt cart.
Trent and I decided to get each other names on our shirts. He got my name in pick and blue. And I got his in blue and green. “Juli, where do you live”? Trent asked me. “Oh I live on Carmichael drive, REALLY”. Said Trent. “Me too”!! “What’s your address?
I live on 14570. No way have I lived like 5 houses down from u my whole life. Trent said excitedly. Yea I guess so. I said. I can’t believe this u can come over anytime to play”.
Trent said childishly. As we turned into my driveway Trent said. “Ummm juli, can I show u something, sure what is it”. I asked. Well it a surprise he said.
