Fang and Max had landed on the edge of Dr Martinez's yard just as she stepped out of the house. She froze, turned around, and saw the pair. "Max." The teen ran forward.
"Hey," she muttered, clutching the woman's shirt.
"Um, come in. Ella"s at school."
