Chapter 1: iHate My Neighboor

This story have a lot of me in it, I just wanted to write a story that they characters have a peace of my personality, but it's all fiction.

"Mom,please, I don't want to move all the way around the country,I have finally made it to sit at the popular table" I said doing the irresistible eyes, that she never say no to.

"I'm sorry but those aren't going to work on me again, and what done is done, we already have half our clothes at our new house already". I sighed in defeat, she looked at me, realizing how much this is going to affect with starting my live all over again. "I don't know how much I can say I'm sorry but I got a better job, they even buy the house"

"Really" I said trying to be happy for her.

"Yea, it even have a pool" I hugged her, she has been trying her best since dad died, and I really don't want to be pain. "Sometimes I make tough choice for the better not to make your life miserable, I mean,we live in a small apartment in New York City, I got a job that pay for my house and our ticket to first class" she said with a wink knowing how I always wanted to fly in first class with really good food, the comfy chairs and a mini tv. What would be better.

"To make it up to you, we are going shopping in LA"

"But mom, we have to save the little money we have" trying not to be self absorbed

"It's okay, I worked some extra shift"

"Mom!"

"I'll stop if you come shopping with me" I know how much she hate her job and working extra at night to get a promotion and then extra work for me to go shopping, I can't lose both of my parents.

"Ok,but we are not going in the bra section remember what happen Tony Ryden"

I was in 7th grade, me and my mom were in the bra department and when my crush Tony Ryden passed by and my mom yells out,'Summer isn't this bra, cute I know it's not your size but we could stuff it with tissue to impress that guy you like Tony Ryden or we could just use this styrofoam thing you use' she said pulling one out of my bra.

I was so embarrassed, I just hide by the bras until he was gone.

"Honey, that was just a good laugh the look on his face was priceless" she said laughing.

"Mom!" I said with a serious face, honestly I don't know which one of us, is the child.

"Ok,ok, we better get ready our flight leaves in 2 hours"

"Wow, mom it look beautiful, I can't believe we are going to live here"

The house wasn't big or small is just right, it's had stone wall on the outside which makes it look like it was made in the 17th century but it looks really nice with beautiful flowers on the front. Inside was nothing like the outside it was modern, with chandelier, loveseat and marble floor. I was so speechless.

'We are going to live in this beautiful house. Go to school where the beach is in the backyard.'

With my clumsiness, I backed my was into a vase of flowers, then I realize that, they were a letter in the middle of the flowers.

"Mom,there is a letter in these flowers"

"Read it sweetie, I don't have my glasses"

I opened the letter, to see this very fancy cursive writing.

'Dear Mrs.Harper

I want to congratulate you on this promotion, the maid, Francesca unpacked you and your daughter belongings. She visits once a week for any light housekeeping and to tend the flowers. I hope you and your daughter enjoy this house, enjoy your weekend and I'll see you Monday.

Before I could say anything my stomach growls, I have eaten 2 plates of steak, with ice cream and cake, how can I be hungry.

"Ok,I guess somebody is hungry" she laughed

"Yea! I guess so"

"So what do you want for dinner,sweetie"

"Burgers?" I said more of a question than a statement. My mom is cool but she is one of those parents that only eat organics and salad with every dinner.

My mom lift her eyebrows and I know what that means.

"Just to celebrate, we could barbecue, please mom, we deserved it"

"Ok, but only beef burgers and whole wheat bread"

"Ok"

"Now go change, your room is the one with the blue door"

I ran up the stair feeling happy, life could get any better, I'm the only daughter so I basically get every I want but I never asked because I'm a goody two shoes.

I found and it's a teenager girl dream, walk-closet with shower in my room, feather bean bean bag, flats screen tv,blue loveseat an dumpy mom even let them coordinate my teddy bears in the right order.

I almost cry when my mom called me from having a my room flooded, I quickly look of my cardigan and rushed down stairs. I went to the back to see my mom was there.

"Summer, this our neighbors, Mr.and Mrs. Morgan"

"Nice to meet you" I said shaking their hands.

"This is 2 of our children, Samantha and Hunter"

"Hi" the girl said friendly which I'm guessing is Samantha, I can tell the boy, Hunter, didn't want to be here. The girl elbowed him, and he said "sup"

I don't what to say, my mom cut the tension by interrupting.

"Summer, why don't you and Samantha go and check on the meat."

I pulled her hand and look her to the grill which was weird because I was never this friendly.

I finally let go of her, before she thinks I'm a creep.

"So, my mom told me, you are going to Aridium high with me and my brother."

"Yea, I guess" I wanted to ask her what's wrong with her brother but I just met her, like 5 seconds ago. "So, why wrong with your brother" I blurted.

She just laughed, "My mom said at birth I got all the friendliness and he got the other stuff"

"Really"

"I'm joking,he his alright one you know him"

"So, you guys are twin?"

"Yea" she said and the confused looked on my face tell it all.

"Fraternal twins, we look nothing alike" it's true she had red hair and gray eyes when he had black-brownish hair with blue eyes

"That's amazing"

"Yea, he just 2 minutes older than me after he found me to get out" she said.

The whole night we talked about our future and some other crazy stuff. We decided since my mom have to be at work early she won't be able to drop me off that the Morgans will drop me off.

It was a fun night, It's feels good to talk to someone other than my mom about the weirdest stuff.
