This is getting weird, creepy weird. My parents wouldn't just leave me like that. I stood up taking in a deep breath before I stepped in a pool of dark liquid. Wait what. I crouched down and touched the mysterious substance, it felt thick but watery and left a residue on my fingers. It felt just like....It couldn't be.... it couldn't be blood. How didn't I notice this before. My eyes darted in front and noticed a long trail of it heading down to the kitchen door. I dashed over being careful not to slip and placed my shaking hand on door knob, it swung open and a blast of warm summer air brushed against me.
The beautiful golden sun shone down but my mind was elsewhere. I had to find out where this trail ended. I had to know wether it was it a prank, a stupid joke. I had to find out. I approached the shed door and slid my fingers around the latch, I unhooked it and pushed the door open. My mouth dropped, tears erupted from my eyes and my heart stopped beating....
