"Noah, I told you many times...I just can't help you with Math. I'm a total bust in it!" cried Willow as she kept her books inside her locker.
"Then, do you know anyone who can?" he asked curiously.
Willow started wondering when she came up with a name.
"Oh yeah! Lydia is brilliant in Math! She can help you...but wait, you bullied her in elementary and middle school. I don't think she's going to accept tutoring you."
Noah smirked dangerously, "Aww, don't you worry. That girl is going to tutor me and she's not gonna have a problem with it."
Willow swallowed and asked, "H-How?"
"That's something for me to know and for you to find out." he said and walked away proudly. Willow sighed in frustration. "Shit, Lydia's gonna kill me if she finds out..."
Meanwhile in my English class,
"Now, I want everyone to complete the story based on the given line,
'He sat alone at the edge of the dock. His feet dangled just inches above the water.'..." said Mrs. McClain as she sat on her chair. The students grumbled and frowned at the board. I looked at my notebook where I had written the line. I led out a deep breath and began writing a paragraph. But I got stuck in between so I started looking around for some ideas.
But as I was, I spotted Noah staring at me with those black deathly eyes. His face was expressionless so I couldn't tell whether he was staring purposely or not. I averted my gaze back to my page as I twitched my fingers in nervousness.
"Gosh, why did he have to be in every class of mine?" I asked myself annoyingly. I turned my head to face Ryan's empty seat. I grumbled and scratched my head in frustration. Ryan was absent today. That thought made my stomach twitch. He was all fine yesterday. I wonder what happened to him?
After a lot of thinking and writing, Mrs. McClain asked us to hand over our notebooks and exit the classroom. I hope I get a good grade! This story-writing thing was actually a class assignment and I usually get an A+, but last week I got a B+ and Mom was really disappointed. Mom...I wanna call her. I miss her...
I walked out of class and slipped my phone out. I started dialing Mom's number when suddenly, someone snatched my IPhone away from me! "Hey!" I cried angrily but then my anger flew away when I stared at the person who snatched it. It was the guy who was about to break my wrist the other day. It was the guy who constantly bullied me about my absentee father in elementary and middle school. Noah Martin snatched my IPhone.
Noah's P.O.V:
There I was. Stealing a girl's stupid IPhone. Oh, and not just any girl...The girl who's been studying with me since elementary. Yeah, I bullied her. About her stupid father who never had time for her. But I had my own reasons to do so. Right now, I was finishing a promise I made to my bastard half-brother.
"I'm going to make her life a living hell. Just wait and watch Ryan Moore, just wait and watch." Yeah, I remember what I said. Lydia was innocent and all, and I knew that. But still, I felt like dumping all the pain and suffering I had faced, on her. I always thought why, and I came up with one reason- To stop her from being something I'm not. Happy.
"Noah, give me back my phone." demanded Lydia with her serious green eyes looking at my dark cruel eyes. I smirked.
"Oh yeah, you gotta do a tiny thing for me, if you want your precious IPhone back." I replied cockily.
Lydia frowned when she heard me. She took a deep breath and asked bravely, "What do you want from me?"
I smiled devilishly. This was the moment I was waiting for.
