Bellamy sunk to the floor as the door slammed behind him. Despite everything his gut told him, he had destroyed the map. For one simple reason. Clarke. He knew where the villages were now, but he'd proven a point to Clarke that he didn't intend to use it. He did it for her. Just like everything he did was for her. Of course the safety of the camp too, but mostly her.
He let out a deep breath and ran his hands over his face. The cabin felt empty and lonely without Clarke but Bellamy decided to give her the space she wanted. He wasn't going to give up on her by any means, but they both needed time to think and breathe. He pulled himself to his feet again and started picking up the things he had thrown earlier. It didn't take long, they didn't have a lot of stuff. One of Clarke's knives fell to the floor when he picked up some clothing and Bellamy paused. He picked up the knife, turning it around in his hands. It wasn't like Clarke to go anywhere without this knife. He put the knife back on the table and let the thought escape his mind. She must have another one with her.
Just as he was picking up the last few bits, Octavia burst through the door.
"Is Clarke here?!" She said, breathless from running.
"No. I thought she was with you?" Bellamy said, confused.
"She was but she disappeared after your speech! I thought she'd gone back to the cabin but she's not there! I've checked everywhere Bell, I can't find her." Octavia was almost in tears now.
Panic seeped through Bellamy at the realisation that Clarke was missing. He grabbed his gun and left behind Octavia. They searched the entire camp. The medical hut, the meat tent, other cabins, the dropship, everywhere. But Clarke was nowhere to be found.
"Clarke!" Bellamy called out.
"She must have left camp." Octavia concluded.
"Did she take any of her stuff?" Bellamy asked.
"I don't think so, it doesn't look like she's been back there at all." Octavia shook her head. "That means she's coming back then, right?"
"I hope so." Bellamy sighed as he looked around camp once more. His eyes locked on the gate.
"Don't even think about it!" Octavia warned him.
"I'm not just gonna sit here O. She could be in trouble!" Bellamy argued. His heart was pounding in his chest. He'd never been so scared in his life. He thought losing his mother and Octavia being sent to prison was scary but this was almost killing him. Clarke was missing, possibly in danger and the last thing he'd said to her was out of anger.
"BELLAMY!"
Bellamy shot his head round to the sound of Murphy desperately calling his name. His eyes went wide and his heart race increased when he saw Jared running through the gates carrying the limp body of Clarke.
"No!" Bellamy whispered as he ran towards them. He reached them in seconds and his hands went to Clarke's face. Her eyes were closed but she was still breathing. What worried him most was the blood staining the back of her hair, spreading out through the blonde locks.
"What happened?!" Bellamy asked desperately as he lead them to the the medical hut.
"She slipped and hit her head. I'll explain later but right now she needs help, she hit her head hard." Jared said. He left to fetch Samantha and Bellamy was left alone.
"Clarke? Clarke can you hear me? I need you to hold on okay Clarke. Stay with me Princess." Bellamy said as he frantically tried to stop the bleeding. Samantha entered the tent and got straight to work.
"The cut isn't too deep. Or long. She should be fine Bellamy." Samantha assured him as she pressed rags to Clarke's head to stop the bleeding. The bleeding stopped and Samantha hastily cleaned and stitched up the small cut.
