Athena

After dinner with my mom and Anthony I went to shower and headed to bed.

I had a hard time staying asleep. After laying down looking at the celling and checked my phone, it was 3:30 am . All of a sudden depression washed over my body, I couldn't help but to cry. My life was falling apart. My dads life was endanger, my mom has a fiance and is engaged and I have anger and trust issues.

I decided to go to the park and go for a jog. After brushing my teeth I headed to the park, instead of driving I jogged there. When I arrived I jogged around for about two hours , it was now 5:30 . I went to sit at the nearest bench and started crying. I guess my brain realized I couldn't run from my problems. After crying for about 20 minutes I felt relived. I headed home, when I got there it was 6 ; I went to my room and showered once again before putting my hair in a bun . It was 6:40 since school only started at 7:30 I should be good enough to stop by McDonald's and got a sausage biscuit, hash brown and, orange juice .
After leaving McDonald's I went to school and sat in the parking lot to eat. I checked my phone and it was 7:20 I decided I should get out and head to class so I could avoid being late again. One in there , orange juice in hand, I took a seat and decided to scope out the class surprisingly Tariq was in here . I took out my phone and texted Melanie
Athena : I think I want to do dance
Melanie: cool sit with me lunch
Athena :kk
"Ms.white phone up please" said​ mr.harris"
"Yessir"
I logged into my laptop and began taking notes , before I knew it the bell rung. While grabbing my stuff and leaving I heard "ayye wait up " , tariq held on to my shoulder walking me to my homeroom.
"So Athena I didn't realize you had classes with me"
"Yea" I said reaching my homeroom
"Hold on ,lemme see your schedule" said Tariq while still holding my shoulder. "We have all the same classes , so does marcus other than 1st"
"Cool" I said ready to get I. Class not wanting to hear this lady mouth .I guess he realized cause he handed me my schedule and let go. I took the same seat in the back, this time only putting in one earbud so I could take notes
- 50 minutes later -
Finally time for lunch. I headed to the chick file a stand and got a cub of ice , I wasn't really hungry so this should do. Once I was done I went to find Melanie, she was sitting at a table with other girls . I went to sit with them , "hey girlie " said Melanie and everyone got quiet . "Wassup" "well ladies Athena here wants to join the team." She said while focusing her attention back on the other girls. After a long talk they agreed to let me join. The next two classes flew by so fast before I knew it I was heading v to my baby. I got in and started her up , her purr was so intoxicating to me. While I was pulling out I noticed Tariq headed this way, I rolled my window down "need a ride?" I asked praying for him to say no "nah ," thank you Jesus " but I wanted to know if you wanted to hang with us today, I promise we won't bring up you having no friends" "sure" I said before even realizing and with that I pulled off. Once home I went to watch Netflix and chill when my phone flashed twice signaling I got a notification. I went to check and it was snap
New notification: Snapchat
When I opened it I realized it was a group chat. Great I hate these.

I got up and headed to the park . Once I was there checked my phone to see a text

I put my phone in my back pocket and went to the court , sure enough everyone was here.
"And the mystery person arrives" said dante , Jesus can he give up already
"You want in" asked Marco
"Nah"
I went and sat on the bench. After about and hour they were done and heading home , "want a ride?" Asked Angelo noticing I walked up here " sure" once he dropped me off I noticed it was 7:50 cool. I headed in the house and went to my mom's room.
She was laying on her bed , "so wassup " I asked wanting to get this over with she patted on her bed for me to sit " well baby, I know I left you and I'm sorry. I'm sorry i wasn't there when you needed me . I was going through alot you had accused Romeo and he was beating me , it was alot I decided to run from my problems. I shouldn't have I should've womaned up . I should have protected you, I'm sorry baby . " I couldn't do anything but heat up and stare at her . I realized she was crying and so was I , I felt the hot tears stream down my face . I felt my heart break into tinier pieces than it already was in. "Mkay" I said before leaving the house. I couldn't be there right now. I texted my only friend Melanie
Athena: mell you know where I can get some weed ?
Mell: yea , come over I'm rolling up rn
Athena: cool if I stay the night?
Mell : yea
I went back in and packed a overnight back , grabbed my laptop and left.
