Lucy's POV
In this world, every person has a soulmate. Everybody sees black and white until they touch their soulmate. My name is Lucy and I'm 17 years old and I still only see black and white. My mom says that I have blonde hair and dark chocolate brown eyes. (In this AU both of Lucy's parent s are still alive) My dad says that I will find my soulmate eventually. As I was walking to school I had my head tilted down and gazed at the ground. With a small oomph, I fell after bumping into someone's back. As I opened my eyes I saw Gray, one of my best friends who already had his soulmate, Juvia. "Oh, Hey Gray," I said in a monotone voice. He sighed and helped me up knowing that I was a bit sad because I hadn't found my soulmate yet. We walked to school together.
Later in the day after lunch, I was taking a stack of papers, that blocked my vision, to the superintendent's office when I ran into someone and was about to fall when I felt a boy's hand grab my arm keeping me upright. Which, in turn, made me drop the papers. I opened my eyes and saw a boy with onyx colored eyes and salmon pink hair. Wait! Salmon Pink hair?! I gasped and his eyes widened slightly. "You see the colors don't you?" I timidly asked him. "Y-yea, uh, Lucy right?" He replied. I nodded and started picking up the stack of papers, he helped me as well. When we had a full stack going on, he split it and gave half to me keeping half for himself to carry. We walked to the superintendent's office and put the stack of papers on her desk. Natsu turned to me and said, "So I guess we're soulmates then, huh," I nodded and flushed a little. He grinned with a simple cool escaping his lips.
(TIME SKIP cuz I said so)
It had been a few months since Natsu and I found out we're soulmates. We became great friends. But gradually over time I had developed feelings for Natsu and today was the day I was going to confess. I had sent Natsu a text asking him to meet me under the Cherry Blossom Tree after school on Friday. (Comment if you get the reference) As I stood there waiting for Natsu to get here, I realized something, what if he doesn't like me back. We're soulmates, he has to right? I took a few deep breathes and calmed myself down. "Hey,"I heard Natsu's voice and turned around. "H-Hey Natsu," I replied stuttering. I cursed my stuttering in my head hoping he didn't notice. "So, what did you need Lucy?" Natsu asked. I blushed as red as Ezra's hair and Said, "Natsu, the reason I-I asked you to come here was that I-I wanted to tell you that I really really like you." It was silent for a few minutes and I started to walk away. But then a hand grabbed me and turned me around. Then a pair of lips met mine in a gentle but passionate kiss. I closed my eyes and snaked my arms around Natsu's neck as he grabbed my waist. We pulled away panting and he asked, "Does that answer you?" with a smirk. I blushed and nodded. He kissed me once more before leaning his forehead on mine after he pulled away and said, "Will you be my girlfriend Luce?" I giggled and nodded
